There is a debate that some people assert that it is good to accept a worse circumstances, such as unsatisfactory jobs or limited salaries, while others have conflicting views over it. However, others believe that it is better to try their best and improve the situations. This essay will discuss both perspectives before reaching any conclusion with relevant examples.

To begin with, the former viewpoint, it is better to accept the hard circumstances. Firstly, when people face failure in their lives, they cannot sit and indulge with negativity, and dissatisfaction. They cannot push themselves into unpleasant environment, or think like that why they unsuccessful in their lives. Secondly, they may feel thankful to what they have their own or not turned to frustration. Consequently, they are more likely to protect their mental well-being and cope with challenges effectively.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The first body paragraph regarding acceptance is a bit vague, focusing more on mental well-being than the practical implications of accepting a bad situation. The second body paragraph is better developed but suffers from some lack of clarity in the examples provided, such as the sentence about students facing failure. While the task is addressed, the arguments could be more thoroughly extended and supported with more concrete, logical reasoning to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'Firstly', 'Consequently', and 'Nevertheless', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'To synopsize, I pen down saying that'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the subject of the sentences sometimes shifts abruptly. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate, and the flow of the argument is generally easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'perseverance' and 'determination'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and awkward collocations, such as 'indulge with negativity', 'make an every possible effort', and 'perform of their better version'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision and naturalness of the writing, which is expected at higher band levels.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms and article usage (e.g., 'many students can facing failure', 'why they unsuccessful', 'to what they have their own'). Some sentences are slightly disjointed due to these errors. While the writer attempts complex structures, the control over them is inconsistent. The errors rarely impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score in this criterion.
