Student answer (Band 6.5)
People have different opinions about how they deal with bad situations. Some people believe that it is best to accept the bad situation while others argue and thinks you should try to improve such bad situations. In my opinion sometimes we can accept such situations which is not easily be changed and need to deal with it then also try to improve such experiences.
On the one hand it is best to accept and deal with such situation like low level job and the shortage of money try to manage expenses and daily spending. This practice teaches us how we deal with such situation at any moment of life where we need it most. For example if someone have a good job and if a person running a good business they are easily managing their expense and all luxury amenities they want in life but suddenly a bad phase has started and your daily expenses become short. It is very hard to survive to those who were not spend hard situations of life before but it is easy to those who already been into that situation.
On the other hand people should try to improve such circumstances like shortage of money, unsatisfactory job and many more like these. It is very hard to spend life with such unsatisfactory positions we should try to find good and better paid jobs. If it is necessary try to learn new skills because science is developing new technology and innovations at daily basis at the result competition in the market are increased.
In conclusion, some of the time people should accept the bad conditions who is unchangeable for sometime and need to find the better options and try improve and overcome these positions in life because taking action lead to better life and happiness.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views and providing a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the benefits of accepting a situation (building resilience) and the benefits of improving it (career advancement), the arguments lack depth and specific, well-developed examples. The introduction is a bit repetitive, and the conclusion is slightly confusing in its phrasing. To reach a higher band, ensure that each body paragraph contains a clear topic sentence followed by a fully explained example or logical progression that directly supports your main argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' to signal shifts in perspective. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are missing or awkward, such as in the final sentence of the introduction. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to track the subject of your sentences. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally into the next will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it is somewhat repetitive and lacks precision. Phrases like 'bad situation' and 'unsatisfactory job' are used multiple times, which limits the range of your expression. There are also some minor word-choice errors, such as 'spend hard situations' instead of 'experience difficult situations'. To improve, try to incorporate more varied synonyms and collocations related to the topic of career and personal development. Using more sophisticated vocabulary will help you convey your ideas with greater clarity and impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'others argue and thinks'), article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'which is not easily be changed'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are noticeable and occur frequently enough to affect the overall fluency of the essay. Focus on proofreading your work to correct basic errors in tense and sentence construction, and try to practice using more complex structures like conditional sentences or relative clauses with greater accuracy.
