Student answer (Band 6.0)
If we talk about the opinion it varies from person to person some people might take it satisfactory to accept a unfavourable situation but others can be disagree with the statement such as in my opinion I would mention a mix thought on this topic. My thought would be Neutral on this topic as I do believe in hard work but at the same time I also have firm faith on destiny what is written for you will be bestowed automatically and if the things are not in your favour no matter how much hard do you try things will slip from your hands even if you have a tight grip on them.
Continuing my above discussion about destiny and hard work I would mention the given situation as the phase of life if the things are not in your favour or are not going according to the plan do not stress out just follow the script keep hard working keep your eyes on the destination. Many times such situations comes when a person gets demotivated but you should never leave the hope of light.
If we talk about the factor of improvement it is very significant in life as no matter how much you excel in life improvement is always needed to keep you motivated for life. It is the wish of betterment which indulges hunger in a person to achieve more and more in life. So you should always try for betterment in life it makes life worth it.
At the end I would conclude in such a way that no matter what ever the situations are you should keep trying I have faced many situations in my life were my courage kept me stood by the courage to live and the hunger for improvement made me pass that situations

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development is limited. While you mention destiny and hard work, the ideas are somewhat repetitive and lack specific, concrete examples to support your position. The prompt asks for a discussion of both views and your own opinion; while you provide a personal stance, it is somewhat philosophical rather than analytical. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a distinct argument with clear supporting evidence or examples. The conclusion is present but does not fully synthesize the two viewpoints discussed in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow between them is weak. Transitions are often missing or mechanical, such as 'Continuing my above discussion' or 'If we talk about'. The use of cohesive devices is limited, and some sentences feel disconnected from the main argument. The paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks a clear topic sentence followed by supporting points. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'conversely', 'consequently') would help create a smoother progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There is some repetition of basic words like 'life', 'things', and 'situations'. Some word choices are slightly unnatural, such as 'indulges hunger in a person' or 'kept me stood by the courage'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range is limited, and there is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic collocations that would demonstrate a more sophisticated command of the language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You frequently encounter issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'situations comes', 'others can be disagree') and punctuation, particularly with run-on sentences that lack proper conjunctions or full stops. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to distract the reader. To reach a higher band, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that complex structures are used with greater accuracy.
