Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that some people accept bad situations, the explanation for why they do so is repetitive and lacks depth. The example of your cousin is relevant and supports your position well, but the overall essay would benefit from more detailed exploration of the 'acceptance' viewpoint. The conclusion is present but could be more effectively linked to the main body arguments to provide a stronger sense of closure.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' to signal shifts in the argument. However, the transitions between sentences are sometimes mechanical, and the flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'Other people have thinking, its very crucial'. To improve, try to use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that pronouns clearly refer back to the intended nouns to improve the overall cohesion of your paragraphs.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'unsatisfactory job' and 'senior executive'. However, there are several instances of unnatural word choice and collocation errors, such as 'neutralized every unfavorable situation' and 'mind blowing and innovative ideas'. These choices sound slightly informal or imprecise for an academic essay. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic collocations and avoid overly colloquial expressions that do not fit the formal tone required for IELTS Task 2.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms and subject-verb agreement, such as 'he was able to got a good job' and 'this is due to the improvement which was he made'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some missing commas and incorrect apostrophe usage. These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not fully impede communication. Focusing on consistent verb tense usage and refining your sentence construction will help improve your accuracy.
