Student answer (Band 6.0)

In this modern era, many people thinks that it is a acceptable worst situation on unsatisfactory job and shortage of income while some other individuals says that try to accept the situation and improve such situations. This essay will dwell on the statement that both views has their own uniqueness and will validate my opinion.

On the one hand, nowadays there are many competitor between us and that we should work hard to achieve a better jobs or goals. people who are financial backward doesn't has the opportunity to to study. They may have no sufficient education to meet the requirement of many companies qualification. They many prefer small jobs to survive and to educate their young ones. So it is their head of the state to do such unsatisfied works such as jobs in local shops, fisherman. For example, there are many people living in the slum areas in India especially on Mumbai, people are suffering off lack of formal schooling or training to get government jobs, the individuals lives there is accepting their reality and managing to live a harsh life.

On the other hand, several people argued that individuals should try to improve their life from such worst situations. workers should accept their hardness int he job and manage to live a better job but the government has implement many investment for creating a small business to make the life better for such peoples. For example, in America, several individuals are leading their life worstly but this has has drastically changed that government has helped by investing small amount like small pension policies has helped the poor people.

To conclude with, people argue that it is best to accept a bad situation but some other says that it is better to try and improve such situations. In my opinion some people are satisfy by their current job but some are forced to doin such jobs to substain their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The essay addresses both views and provides an opinion, though the development is inconsistent. The introduction is somewhat confused, as it misinterprets the prompt by suggesting that 'accepting' and 'improving' are the same thing. While the body paragraphs attempt to discuss the two sides, the arguments are often unclear or contradictory. For instance, the second paragraph discusses the necessity of hard work but then focuses on the lack of opportunity, which is a different point. The conclusion is weak and does not clearly restate the position. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea that directly answers the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is frequently disrupted by unclear phrasing and awkward transitions. While cohesive devices like 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' are used, they do not always effectively link the ideas that follow. The referencing is sometimes confusing, such as in the second paragraph where the link between the 'head of the state' and the examples provided is unclear. The flow of ideas is often mechanical, and the relationship between sentences is not always logical, which hinders the overall coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate, which occasionally impedes communication. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'financial backward', 'leading their life worstly', and 'doin such jobs'. The range of vocabulary is basic and repetitive, relying on simple terms like 'small jobs' or 'bad situation'. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical context. Expanding your range of collocations will also help improve the naturalness of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'many people thinks', 'both views has'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or contain run-on structures that make them difficult to follow. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, these are often faulty and contain errors in tense or word order. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralisation and verb forms before attempting more complex structures.
