Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both viewpoints and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited. For example, the explanation of why people accept bad situations is vague, relying on general statements like 'teaching a new things' rather than specific, well-supported arguments. Similarly, the second viewpoint is under-developed, lacking concrete examples to illustrate how individuals actively improve their circumstances. The conclusion is somewhat contradictory, as it mentions 'acceptance is good' but then states the author is in favor of 'beneficiary results', which is unclear. To reach a higher band, you need to extend your arguments with more detailed reasoning and clearer examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'In addition to' (used without a noun phrase) and 'While it related to' are grammatically awkward and disrupt the flow. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the logical progression within paragraphs is hindered by repetitive phrasing and unclear referencing. For instance, the transition 'On the other hand' is used correctly, but the subsequent sentences struggle to maintain a coherent argument. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will significantly enhance the readability of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'acception' instead of 'acceptance', 'potencial' (spelling), and 'beneficiary results' (incorrect usage). The essay relies on basic vocabulary, and there is little evidence of an attempt to use less common or more precise lexical items. Phrases like 'doing much work' and 'doing too much hard work' are simplistic. To improve, focus on learning collocations related to professional and personal development and ensure you are using the correct word forms (e.g., nouns vs. adjectives).

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some of it believes', 'some of are assume'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack necessary components, such as 'In addition to, few people are more concern about their skill'. The use of complex structures is attempted but often results in errors, such as 'the how we tackle that problem'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band score.
