Student answer (Band 5.0)
We all know good and bad days both can take place in our life at any moment. We should hyper aware of every situation that can cause something bad in our life that can depress us. Some time it can happen it's on as a loss or shortage of money too. Money is a thing that can drain every moment and it can also find us at every moment. We shouldn't give up . We should work hard for gaining money and making our future secure because life is nothing without money . Shortage of money doesn't mean shortage of life . We should struggle for it . I've also seen bad days bcz of no money hut i didn't leave hope . We can also fail at a job sometimes but it doesn't mean that all other jobs in world are closed for u .
The people who loses hope and get satisfied with their failure ..are the real losers . Meanwhile those who think we shouldn't give up and work hard ..may achieve something big one day . Because they have the ability to struggle, they're the real brave .
The people who don't agree with working hard instead of accepting failure are not brave enough. They think everything will fail for them without even knowing new door may took them towards success . And those who agree with hardworking achieves alot of achievements one day. My friend got fail in 3 subjects in examinations , she also think that she lost . She had no other options but i gave her hope and motivation that she can clear it and she cleared all her supplies with good marks now she's in high standard college , getting her higher education. I think we shouldn't lose hope . Hope is the main door of success

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development is somewhat superficial. While you clearly state your opinion that one should not give up, the arguments are repetitive and rely heavily on personal anecdotes rather than broader, more analytical reasoning. The prompt asks to discuss both views, but the discussion of why some people might choose to accept a bad situation is underdeveloped and lacks depth. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a distinct viewpoint with clear supporting evidence or logical explanation, rather than focusing primarily on personal motivation.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the internal structure is weak. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link ideas; for example, the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is abrupt. Many sentences are short and choppy, which hinders the flow of the argument. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the use of 'it's on as a loss' or 'it can also find us'. To improve, use linking words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'on the other hand' to guide the reader through your logic.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic words like 'bad', 'good', 'money', and 'hope'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'hyper aware' (should be 'highly aware'), 'drain every moment', and 'cleared all her supplies' (likely meaning 'resits' or 'failed subjects'). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas effectively. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary related to the topic of resilience, perseverance, and financial hardship.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('The people who loses hope'), incorrect verb forms ('new door may took them'), and punctuation errors. The sentence structures are predominantly simple, with few successful attempts at complex sentences. The informal tone, including the use of 'u' and 'bcz', is inappropriate for an Academic Task 2 essay. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency.
