Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to address the task requirements adequately. First, it is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of the argument. Second, the prompt asks to discuss both views (accepting a bad situation vs. trying to improve it) and provide an opinion. You focused almost exclusively on the benefits of taking an unsatisfactory job, failing to discuss the alternative perspective of those who argue for active improvement or change. The ideas are repetitive and lack the necessary development to reach a higher band. To improve, ensure you address all parts of the prompt equally and provide a clear, structured argument that meets the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. It is written as a single block of text rather than using paragraphs to separate the introduction, body, and conclusion. While there are some attempts at cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'Although', they are often used incorrectly or do not logically connect the ideas. The progression of thought is disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow your argument. To improve, you should organize your essay into distinct paragraphs, each focusing on a specific point, and use a wider variety of linking words to create a smoother flow between sentences.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'unsatisfactory job', 'money', and 'hard work'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'seo resignation' (likely a typo for 'seek') and 'efforts persons are facing'. The range is insufficient to express complex ideas precisely. To reach a higher band, you should aim to incorporate more academic vocabulary and collocations related to the topic of employment and personal development, while ensuring that your word choices are accurate and appropriate for the context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with sentence structure, such as sentence fragments ('Because the shortage of money will decrease his confidence level.') and incorrect verb forms ('he will able to know'). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also inconsistent. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and proofreading for common errors like tense consistency and word order.
