A recent survey among peoples who face this kind of situation tell us that accepting the situation face this generally good option rather then to demotivate ourself and overthinking which causes having stress and negatively effect on mental health. Moreover, that it is best to accept the bad situation because you realize which people stands with you and which run.

On the other hand, people argue that while accepting the situation you should try hard and improve circumstances.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The student addresses the task adequately by presenting both perspectives on whether to accept bad situations or strive for improvement. However, the ideas are somewhat underdeveloped and lack clarity, which affects the overall strength of the argument. For example, the mention of a survey is not sufficiently elaborated to provide context or evidence. The conclusion attempts to summarize both views but lacks a clear stance, which dilutes the opinion given. More detailed explanations and examples would enhance the task achievement score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response contains noticeable issues with coherence and cohesion. The transitions between ideas are often abrupt, as seen in phrases like "On the one hand" and "On the other hand," where the connection is not strong enough to guide the reader. Some sentences are convoluted, reducing clarity, such as "acception change the lifestyle for sometimes," making it difficult for the reader to track the argument. Clear topic sentences and linking phrases would improve the overall flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary demonstrates some range but includes several inaccuracies and errors in word choice. For example, "acception" should be "acceptance," and the phrase "this kind of situation tell us" has grammatical errors. The terms used, such as "demotivate ourself" and "good option rather then to demotivate" lack precision and appropriateness for an academic essay, affecting the lexical resource score. A more varied and accurate vocabulary would strengthen the writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

Grammatical accuracy is an area of concern in this response. There are multiple grammatical errors, such as in "that it is best to accept the bad situation" which should be rephrased for clarity, and the incorrect use of "was" instead of "were" in "those who was afraid." Sentence structures are often awkward, impacting fluency. Attention to subject-verb agreement and sentence construction would significantly improve the grammatical range and accuracy score.

Overall feedback

Your response shows that you can discuss both sides of the argument regarding accepting or improving bad situations, which is good. However, your ideas need clearer development and more specific examples to strengthen your overall argument. Additionally, focus on improving the coherence of your writing by using appropriate linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between points. Pay attention to grammatical structures and word choices, as errors can distract from your overall message. Practicing sentence variety and revising your vocabulary use will help elevate your writing to a higher standard.
