Student answer (Band 5.5)
People have different views about whether it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or it is better to try and improve such situations. While there are valid arguments in favour of both perspective. I believe that you have to try and improve your wealth because its allow you to change your life .
One the one hand, supporters of the view that, it is best to accept a bad situation argue that you have to adjust yourself in a current bad situation. This is mainly because people are less likely to take risk due to fear of failure. As a result, some individuals accepted that this is our fate. For instance, If you are doing a job as a manager, then accept it, may be this is your dream job. Therefore, there is some justification for preferring this approach
On the other hand, those who support that it is better to try and improve such situation believe that if they try hard, they will succeed. One reason for this is that, they have to change their life. as well as fulfill their dreams . For example, If bill gate was not try to made the Microsoft, can he become much rich ? Therefore, from this perspective, try and improve such situation can be seen as a reasonable approach.
Personally, I am more convinced by the view that if you work hard , you will definitely succeed. The main reason is that you have to change your life. You must try to enhance your wealth and become a successful business man. For example, If Haris rauf, one of the main player of Pakistan cricket . If he was not try and word hard, he is not playing in the team. Therefore, I believe that try hard is the more beneficial approach.
In conclusion, both views have their own merits. However, I believe that try and improve your lifestyle is the more significant position because it will help you to become a valuable person.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the argument for improving one's situation relies heavily on the generic phrase 'change your life' rather than exploring the nuances of personal growth or economic mobility. The examples provided, such as 'Bill Gate' (Bill Gates) and 'Haris Rauf', are relevant but lack sufficient detail to fully support the arguments. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of analysis is more characteristic of a Band 6.0 response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly misused, such as 'Therefore, from this perspective, try and improve such situation can be seen as a reasonable approach'. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences is sometimes interrupted by grammatical errors. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There is a reliance on simple, repetitive phrasing like 'bad situation', 'change your life', and 'try hard'. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'become much rich' instead of 'become much wealthier' and 'main player of Pakistan cricket' instead of 'prominent Pakistani cricketer'. Spelling errors, such as 'bill gate' and 'word hard', also detract from the overall quality.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('its allow you'), incorrect verb forms ('If bill gate was not try to made'), and punctuation errors. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Complex structures are attempted, but they are often faulty, such as the sentence fragments starting with 'If' in the third and fourth paragraphs.
