Student answer (Band 6.0)
One section of society thinks that it is best to accept a bad situation, like unsatisfactory job or shortage of money, while another section of society believes that people should try better and improve such situations. I will discuss both viewpoints as well as my opinion in the following paragraphs.
To commence with, Individuals should accept bad situations. The first and foremost reason is that, so they can fullfill their basic needs such food, shelter and bills etcectra. To elaborate, some people are not happy with their job roles and duties at work but still they have to do these kind of jobs because they is nobody to help them financially. Moreover, due to lack of education and experience, nowadays individuals without degree, it is very hard to find a high salary jobs in the large cities, so in such cases people accept the situations.
On the other hand, people should keep trying to improve such situations. To improve their standard of living, todays due to inflation everything is expensive such as fuel, food and clothes. Additionally, to secure their future, people should try their best untill they get a better job with high salary so, they can save some amount of money for their future. For example, a survey was conducted in the USA, in 2005, which showed that individuals those who saved money for their future were living better life as compared to others.
I believes that people should try their best to find a better job with good environment along with good wages to secure uncertainty expenses in the future.
To conclude, no doubt for some reasons people have to accpt the situations like shortage of money but they should not lose hope and keep trying and give their best to find a better job.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument for accepting a bad situation is supported by basic points about financial necessity, but the explanation lacks depth. Similarly, the argument for improving one's situation is supported by a generic example of a survey in the USA, which is not fully integrated or explained in relation to the prompt. While the position is clear throughout, the ideas could be extended further to reach a higher band. The response covers all parts of the task, but the supporting arguments remain at a surface level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude', though some are used in a slightly mechanical or repetitive way. The progression of ideas is generally clear, although the transition between the need for money and the example of the USA survey is a bit abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints. Overall, the structure is coherent, but the flow between sentences could be improved with more varied linking phrases.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'try better' instead of 'strive for improvement' and 'uncertainty expenses' instead of 'unforeseen expenses'. The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey the message, but it does not demonstrate a wide range of less common lexical items. Spelling errors like 'fullfill', 'etcectra', and 'accpt' are present, though they do not significantly impede communication. To improve, the student should focus on using more precise collocations and academic terminology.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'because they is nobody' (subject-verb agreement), 'individuals those who saved' (redundant pronoun), and 'I believes' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are issues with sentence boundaries and comma usage. While the meaning is usually clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on basic subject-verb agreement and avoiding redundant phrasing to improve accuracy.
