Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people think that one should accept bad result like unsatisfactory job or money shortage while other believe that they must put an extra effort to improve the result. This essay will elucidates both prospective with relevant example followed by my point view.
Some people think that, an individual should accept worse situation because they believe that its a waste of time to put an effort in improving the result so the individual should accept it and should work more hard in it and make a position better than before for example many people accept their low-income job work hard and get in to higher position with good salary
.
In contrast, many people believe that , an individual should work hard and get into position they are willing to work or should make proper investment instead of accepting their current condition if they gets failed then they should try again with more efforts and dedication. for instance, many successful people who are high position had face failure at certain point of time but their never giving up attitude is the only reason for what they are today.
In my opinion, people should work hard for their goals and should never give because failure is part of the journey therefore they should learn for their mistake and carried out their work with more hard work and consistency
in conclusion some people argue one should accept current situation for them improving is waste of time while other oppose these prospective and said individual should make a try to improve their situation but from opinion should not accept their current situation and should make an effort to improve it

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument for accepting a situation is not fully explored, and the examples provided are generic and lack specific detail. The conclusion is also quite repetitive and does not effectively synthesize the main points. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand your arguments with more nuanced reasoning and concrete, illustrative examples rather than relying on broad generalizations.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'for instance', 'in contrast', 'in conclusion'). There are also issues with punctuation and sentence boundaries, such as the run-on sentences in the second and third paragraphs, which disrupt the flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence is clearly demarcated would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'work hard' and 'bad result' multiple times. There are also some word-choice errors, such as 'prospective' instead of 'perspective' and 'point view' instead of 'point of view'. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'resilience', 'professional advancement', or 'proactive approach', and ensure you are using collocations correctly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include missing articles (e.g., 'in higher position'), subject-verb agreement errors (e.g., 'many successful people... had face failure'), and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'carried out their work with more hard work'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several instances of comma splices and missing periods. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy.
