Student answer (Band 5.5)

The question of how to respond to difficult circumstances like unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Few individuals believes that by accepting a bad circumstances is best for their life, while others have confidence in not accepting the fate and doing their best to their job improve their skills and situations get well settled and living a luxurious life.

Firstly if we talk about unfortunate circumstances like doing a unwanted job and work for a compulsion and poverty of money. By accepting their fate it is good because stress will reduce automatically and a relaxation will come. There is no hurry and worry in their life because if they think about their unfortunate fate the level of stress will high other disease like high blood sugar, headache and faces with mental issues. Yes for freshers like age of 20-21 persons who starting and finding jobs their is a good decision to accepting the bad circumstances. Because in this age the life is came out of childhood and its better to do any job if they want a future secure.

On the other hand other individuals trust to try better and doing best to their life to improve the situations of their life by accepting the fate we only cheated them and can't achieve success in life. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding 'accepting fate' to reduce stress are somewhat superficial, and the counter-argument lacks depth, relying on repetitive phrasing rather than well-supported reasoning. The prompt asks to discuss both views, but the explanation of why some people choose to accept bad situations is not fully explored beyond a basic mention of stress reduction. To improve, you should provide more concrete examples or logical explanations for why someone might choose to accept a difficult situation, rather than just stating it is a 'good decision' for young people.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and grammatical errors. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'Firstly', 'On the other hand'), they are often followed by sentences that do not connect smoothly to the previous point. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'by accepting the fate we only cheated them', where the pronoun 'them' lacks a clear antecedent. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks a clear progression of ideas, making the argument feel disjointed.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'poverty of money' instead of 'financial hardship', 'doing a unwanted job' instead of 'unfulfilling employment', and 'get achievement in your feet'. The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey basic meaning, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. You rely heavily on simple, sometimes inaccurate, phrasing. Expanding your range to include more academic collocations and precise terminology would significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the essay, including subject-verb agreement ('Few individuals believes'), article usage ('a unwanted job'), and sentence structure ('The conclusion will that don't cheat...'). Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, which hinders readability. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate, leading to confusion. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring subject-verb agreement. You should also practice using punctuation correctly to avoid run-on sentences, as these errors occur frequently and occasionally impede the reader's understanding of your intended meaning.
