Student answer (Band 6.0)
People often face difficulties such as financial crisis or job dissatisfaction in their respective lives. In this regard, some people believe that accepting the situation is the the best possible way while others argue that one must try its best to improve the situation. This essay will discuss the both views before citing a suitable conclusion.
On the one hand, acceptation the bad situation has its own advantageous factors like it will provide the individual suffering from so temporary relief which will help him to think positively by ignoring the factors of negative situation. Also accepting the circumstance allows the person to stay risk free as there are possible chances that in try to improve or solve the problem the person could make it even worse. In addition, just accepting the situation saves time, money and balances mental health of the suffering person and encourages him to focus on future tasks and utilise his time in doing productive work which will ultimately help in the future.
On the other hand, trying to improve the situation opens doors to various opportunities. Even-though it acquires risk but handling and finding the solution is most of the time a better decision as one could get a permanent solution for that particular circumstance. Also, trying to improve the situation by finding a suitable solution will help the person to handle these types o situations in a better way in the future. As a result a person will not only get the solution for the problem but he will also secure the future from arsing same kind of problem in his life.
In my opinion, accepting the situation is only good for temporary relief or if the person just wants to be on the safe side but finding a solution can imp prove the situation a lot more than just sitting a thinking about the problem as it can improve future problematic situations.
To conclude, although it entirely depends on a person that how he desires to handle the situation yet I firmly believe that finding a permanent solution for the situation is always a better alternative..

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of acceptance for mental health and the long-term advantages of proactive problem-solving. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive. For instance, the argument about 'improving the situation' is restated in similar terms across the third and fourth paragraphs without adding significant new depth or specific examples. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more concrete, illustrative examples rather than general statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'In addition', and 'To conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, there are some instances of mechanical or slightly awkward phrasing, such as 'In this regard' and 'the the best possible way'. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be smoother with more varied transition markers.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'unsatisfactory', 'productive', and 'permanent solution'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'acceptation the bad situation' (acceptance of), 'arsing same kind of problem' (arising), and 'imp prove' (improve). These errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning. To improve, focus on learning the correct word forms and common collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, including missing articles ('the the'), incorrect verb forms ('it acquires risk'), and punctuation issues. For example, 'it will provide the individual suffering from so temporary relief' is grammatically awkward. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. Increasing your control over sentence structure and proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy.
