Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some populations believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unlikely job or low-income. While other people argue that it is positive to try and improve current situations. This essay will examine the tension between continue in unsatisfactory job and better to improve opportunity.
A competing perspective is that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. These kinds of thoughts are applied by lower middle class families. For example, a person cannot find a job for six months. After six months, a company offers a job with low salary. He wants to accept this proposal with the base of six months efforts and family pressure. In my country, the elite class community did not want to rise the lower-class community. For instance, a private or government employees did not want to become a well settle person. They give a salary according to the needs. They make their employees more dependent to the company.
On the other hand, some people believe that it is beneficial to try and improve your current era. To elaborate it, a job person is also started a part-time business. Beginning of the business, he is trolled by his relatives and also little family members. But he continues his business despite facing criticism. It is better to try and improve your situation instead of losing your confidence. This type of generation will be successful in life because they don't think what people say.
Ultimately, the evidence suggests that you should try something with self- confidence nor dependent on the other company or family members. You should learn your mistakes. You only lose when you give up. you should invest time and efforts in companies which behaves as a human and treat like a company member.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding accepting a bad situation is supported by a specific example, but the reasoning is occasionally unclear, such as the claim about the 'elite class' preventing the rise of the lower class, which feels slightly tangential to the prompt. The second body paragraph provides a relevant example of starting a business, but the explanation could be more deeply explored to fully support the argument. Overall, the response covers all parts of the task, but the depth of analysis is limited, placing it in the 6.0 range.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices, such as 'On the other hand' and 'Ultimately'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are abrupt or grammatically awkward, such as 'To elaborate it, a job person is also started a part-time business.' The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the logical progression within paragraphs could be smoother. The structure is sufficient for a 6.0, as the overall arrangement is coherent despite some minor lapses in cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices or incorrect collocations, such as 'unlikely job' (likely meant 'unsatisfactory'), 'current era' (meant 'current situation'), and 'well settle person' (meant 'well-settled person'). While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and the errors in word choice are noticeable. The student attempts to use some academic vocabulary, but the execution is inconsistent, which is characteristic of a 5.5 or 6.0 band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include 'While other people argue that it is positive to try and improve current situations' (a sentence fragment), 'a job person is also started' (incorrect passive voice), and 'nor dependent on the other company' (incorrect conjunction usage). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is usually discernible, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents a higher score.
