Student answer (Band 5.0)
a few people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation like unsatisfactory job and shortage of money. while some think its good to try and improve such situations.
Those who accept the argue that its good to accept a bad situation and said not all situations can be solved for example if you had lose your job and thinks that its impossible to find a new job. They leave the way of hard working they get demotivated. Continously fighting with bad situation might be cause of frustration and demotivation.
however others believe that accepting the bad situation means the bad situation. they argue that life is full of learning we dint wanna to leave the situation on any part of our life. we should motivated in a any point of our life. I think the problems can be solve by efficient way for example if someone lost his job he can be find a new job or can learn new skills. when he learn good skills he can survive with more efficient way he learn his mistake and have a new start.
in my opinion its very good to accept bad situation. we can improve the skills we have. we should slowly improve what we have. A passive attitude may be cause stuck but positive steps even a small motivation can cause improvement even the small one can make a right way to make better life. In conclusion, although there are reason to accept difficult situations, its good to encourage yourself motivate yourself for the best you can do.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides an opinion, fulfilling the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. For instance, the explanation of why people accept bad situations is somewhat confusing, and the transition to the author's own opinion is contradictory, as the author states they believe in accepting bad situations but then argues for active improvement. The ideas lack depth and specific, well-explained examples, which prevents the response from reaching a higher band. The position is somewhat unclear due to these inconsistencies.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as the misuse of 'however' and 'in conclusion'. Referencing is often unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of arguments. For example, the sentence 'accepting the bad situation means the bad situation' is incoherent. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks the necessary flow to guide the reader effectively through the arguments.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'bad situation', 'good', and 'improve'. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'leave the way of hard working' and 'be cause stuck'. The range is insufficient to express complex ideas precisely. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of variety and the presence of errors in word formation and usage significantly restrict the score. More precise vocabulary is needed to elevate the quality of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('problems can be solve'), tense inconsistencies ('he can be find'), and missing articles. Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when attempting complex forms. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and incorrect capitalization. While the reader can generally understand the intended meaning, the persistent errors in basic grammar and sentence construction impede the flow and indicate a lack of control over complex structures.
