Student answer (Band 6.0)
Job satisfaction and having a good amount of money is really important in life. Some people believe that they do not need to change their jobs, even if it is toxic and not giving satisfying result, or having a shortage of money, while others have a opinion that individuals should strive in order to have a better opportunities and financial stability. I strongly agree with the latter view and will discuss reasons for my statement.
It is a common belief of some people, that there is no need to change jobs, or strive to have stable income, and let the things happen in a usual way. There might be a lot of reasons for this opinion such as, people sometimes are not certain that they will get a better job, because job market is very saturated now a days and it might feels very intimidating to find a new one. In addition to that, some people are just lazy, and they do not want to upskill themselves to secure a better job and a pay raise. For example, people in their late 40's do not want to take any risks in their life, as they fear that they might end up in a worse situation.
On the other hand, some people have a view that everyone should strive to get a better life, and in order to enjoy the luxuries of life, you need to have a good source of income. Moreover, it is noted that people who are not satisfied with their jobs, ends up having difficulty enjoying time with their families as well, due to the stress they face at their workplace. They have a view that people should keep on trying to make their life better, as your job satisfaction affects your overall relations as well.
In conclusion, I am convinced that people should try to improve their job and financial situations instead of just relying on a job, that is affecting their mental and physical health, so they can enjoy the luxuries of life with their families.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views and clearly states a position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons for the 'acceptance' view, such as fear of the job market and laziness, the 'improvement' view is less developed, relying on general statements about luxuries and family stress. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples or deeper analysis of why striving for improvement is beneficial, perhaps by discussing the long-term psychological impact of career stagnation versus the rewards of professional growth. The conclusion effectively restates your position, but the overall depth of the argument remains at a mid-level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition to that,' 'On the other hand,' and 'Moreover' to link ideas. However, the transition between sentences can sometimes feel mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally repetitive. The flow is generally easy to follow, but the logical progression within paragraphs could be tightened by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence builds more naturally upon the previous one. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'saturated,' 'intimidating,' and 'financial stability.' However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'not giving satisfying result' (should be 'results') and 'have a opinion' (should be 'an opinion'). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing. The range is sufficient to communicate your ideas clearly, but it does not show a high level of flexibility or control over less common lexical items.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors that persist throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues like 'people... ends up' (should be 'end up') and 'it might feels' (should be 'it might feel'). Additionally, there are minor punctuation and article errors, such as 'a opinion' instead of 'an opinion'. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences would significantly improve your score in this criterion.
