Student answer (Band 5.5)

Several individuals have faith that it is good to agree a predicament, like poor career or lack of pennies. Different citizen believe that is is best to attempt again and ameliorate these circumstances.

In our country, there are many unsatisfactory jobs and due to this there is a lack of money. People who are well educated can't find job in this modern era.

Overall, this essay will discuss the point of view of bth people who think that it is best to accept bad condition and who think it is good to face these challanges. And I will give my own opinion on these circumstances.

In our country, the individuals who are well educated can't find their career due to lack of businesses and less importance of study. So, most of the populace go to foreign country to find some labour as they can bare their expenses and take care of thier household. But the people who don't have enough money or who didn't go to school means that these individuals can't find a job, so that they spend all of their lives to earn some money. These are people who accept these situation like shortage of money.

On the other hand, many citizen have true faith that it is better to try and improve these circumstances. a famous quote is that "try try again, till you succeed", it means if you are not achieving your goal so, try again and again till you succeed. For instance, my elder brother go to various corporations to find a job to bare household expenses but, unfortunately he didn't find a job but he didn't lose his heart and finally he achieved his goal and get a job at a great company .

In my opinion, I would say that we should have to argue ourselves that we are human beings and we are the people who invented all the things in this world. So, why we are not accepting those situation where we lose our heart. It is our duty to try again and ameliorate till we succeed.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. The discussion on 'accepting a bad situation' is focused heavily on personal anecdotes and local context rather than a broader analysis of the philosophical or practical implications. While the position is clear, the arguments lack depth and the conclusion is slightly confusing in its phrasing ('why we are not accepting those situation where we lose our heart'). To improve, you should aim to explore the reasons behind these perspectives more thoroughly rather than relying on personal examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the transition 'So, most of the populace...' and the use of 'But' at the start of sentences are somewhat simplistic. There are also issues with referencing; the connection between the introduction and the body paragraphs is weak. The flow of ideas is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing, such as the transition into the personal anecdote about your brother, which feels abrupt. Improving the variety and precision of linking words would significantly enhance the logical progression.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of unnatural word choices, such as 'agree a predicament' (instead of 'accept a predicament'), 'lack of pennies' (which is informal and idiomatic in a way that doesn't fit the academic tone), and 'bare household expenses' (the correct verb is 'bear'). Some phrases are repetitive, such as 'try again and again'. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and collocations, and avoid informal or non-standard expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'many citizen have'), article usage (e.g., 'go to foreign country'), and tense consistency (e.g., 'my elder brother go to various corporations'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some sentences being run-on or lacking necessary commas. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the writing from being considered fluent or accurate at a higher level.
