Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

In this contemporary era, people are losing the hope of their developing career and accepting their fate. Some people choose acceptance instead of overcoming their problems such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. In contrast, some people argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. i believe that every individual has the capability to counter all bad circumstances in his life.

Firstly, there is a significant proportion of people in our society who are facing numerous challenges in their day-to-day life but rather than looking for a solution, they preferred to leave that problem behind. These individuals choose to relax and stay in their comfort zones. They do not want any pressure and stress in their lifestyle. It is because of several reasons, for example some people belong to various communities who believe in god more than anything. Due to their faith and trust they ignore to solve their situations on their own.

However, another group of people come with a different mindset. They are highly concerned about their future and try to manage their issues by themselves. They have to make a sudden improvement and want to pursue more achievements in their life. These groups never rely on others and solve problems in a systematic way. These people majorly come from an intellectual family where they learn varieties of skills and career building opportunities.

In conclusion, although some people avoid doing hard work and depend on their luck, another group of individuals organise their own destination and resolve issues in their own way. I believe that giving up is not an option and confronting problems will provide a successful life.
