Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, unemployment has become a subject of considerable debate. Some people argue that it is easy to accept the poor circumstances or enployment, other people believed that instead of eccepting circumstances try to serch job and work hard enough to overcome the shortage of money.I stongly agreed that hard working is very important to change the situtaion and keep on trying in search of new jobs and this essay will explain main reasons of my position.
On the one hand, Some people believed that it is easy for everyone to accept the poor circumstances including unemployment, lack of money and other financial issues. when you accept the situation and circumstances you may feel easy and comfartable with that situation. For example if someone have no money to pay his or her fee it is okay to leave his education and accept it that there are no chance for him or her to continue her studies.Because this may help him to understand the situation. Therfore they consider it is more realistics to accept the circumstances.
On the other hand, people argued that hard work hard and keep on try for searching jobs may help in changes your circumstances and financial issues. Instead of accepting poor and bad situation try to find out the alternative solution to solve their problems. For example if a students from a rural area can not pay his fee , he may search part time job or a remote job for the fee this may also help to fullfill his reqiurements and may change the situation of students by hard working.
In conclusion, I stongly agree that keep on trying to improve situation because this may help to improve the financial situation and also built the hard working ability in a person to manage his issues.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on whether to accept a bad situation or try to improve it, and the writer provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on accepting bad circumstances relies on a narrow example regarding education fees, and the reasoning is occasionally unclear due to phrasing issues. The introduction misinterprets the prompt slightly by framing the entire debate around unemployment rather than broader unsatisfactory situations and shortages of money, though it still engages with the core theme. Ideas are presented and supported, but they lack the depth expected at higher bands, placing this response comfortably at Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay has a recognizable overall structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs representing opposing views, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate ideas. However, logical progression is frequently hindered by mechanical or faulty cohesive devices. The transitions such as 'On the one hand, Some people believed' and 'On the other hand, people argued' help guide the reader, but referencing is occasionally unclear (e.g., shifts in pronouns between 'you', 'he or her', and 'they'). Furthermore, internal cohesion within paragraphs can be choppy, resulting in a somewhat disjointed reading experience. Overall, it meets the requirements for Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary to communicate ideas about financial struggles and hard work, employing terms like 'circumstances', 'unemployment', and 'alternative solution'. Nevertheless, there are numerous spelling errors throughout the text, including 'enployment' instead of employment, 'eccepting' for accepting, 'serch' for search, 'stongly' for strongly, 'situtaion' for situation, 'comfartable' for comfortable, 'Therfore' for therefore, 'realistics' for realistic, and 'built' for build. These lexical errors and spelling mistakes are noticeable and occasionally impede readability, preventing the score from reaching Band 6.0. The lexical control aligns with a Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as conditional and relative clauses (e.g., 'For example if someone have no money...'). However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. Examples include 'someone have', 'there are no chance', 'a students from a rural area can not pay his fee, he may search part time job', and tense inconsistencies. Punctuation is also problematic, particularly with missing spaces after commas and periods. These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader, matching the Band 5.0 descriptors.
