Student answer (Band 5.0)

In my opinion, it is good to accept the any bad situation and calmly handle the matter. every body have multiple problems in their life and it is part of life some days are good and some days are bad, in bad days human need to understand the situation and clamly handle it and learn from theit mistake and take it as lesson for future. in my point of view, it is not good to argue in any situation even its make the situation more wrost and difficult for person. For example, if a person loss their job its not good to argue their Boss and prove himself. sometime in professional feild it is bad impact on next person and destroy your image in company, On the other hand the person need to handle the situation in a good way ,firstly think how to mange the situation , its okay if you loss the job its is not last job , find the new opportunity apply for new job and give your best perfomance, learn the lesson from past experience and could not make mistake in future. The problems are part of our life and we need to understand how to handle these situation. its not the solution to argue with any one in situation . i know that sometime it is very exusating and difficult to handle these situation in clamly way but is is human test in hard time how to mange the anger and control on his self .in today era people are not tolerate the others and have no patience . to sum up the disscusion, i think so it is best for person to handle the bad situation with patience and good manners. The arguement make the wrose situation and it is not the right pathway to deal the difficult situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views on how to deal with difficult situations, specifically whether to accept and handle them calmly or to argue and fight against them. You provided your own opinion that accepting and dealing with challenges patiently is the better path, supporting this with a clear example regarding job loss. However, the discussion tends to blend the two opposing views rather than clearly separating them into distinct arguments before presenting your stance. Ideas are somewhat repetitive, focusing heavily on the idea of not arguing with bosses. To reach a higher band, the arguments need broader development and clearer demarcation between the two viewpoints.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The text suffers from significant organizational issues. The paragraphing is extremely erratic, with the entire middle section lumped into one massive block of text, followed by inconsistent spacing. Cohesive devices are minimal and sometimes inaccurate, resulting in a choppy and disjointed reading experience. While there is a basic logical progression from introducing the topic to providing an example and concluding, the lack of proper paragraph breaks and clear signposting devices prevents the essay from flowing smoothly. Referencing pronouns like 'it' or 'his self' are occasionally ambiguous.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is quite limited and repetitive, with frequent reliance on basic words like 'bad', 'situation', 'job', and 'problem'. There are numerous word choice and collocation errors, such as 'accept the any bad situation', 'loss their job' instead of 'lose their job', and 'exusating' instead of 'exhausting'. Spelling mistakes are also present throughout the response ('clamly', 'meanging', 'arguement', 'wrose'). While the meaning can generally be extracted, the lexical limitations and inaccuracies restrict the score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammatical range is restricted. The response relies heavily on simple and compound sentences, with frequent run-on sentences and comma splices, such as 'every body have multiple problems in their life and it is part of life some days are good...'. Control over basic grammar and punctuation is weak, evidenced by missing capitalisation at the start of sentences, subject-verb agreement errors ('every body have', 'people are not tolerate'), and awkward phrasing. Complex structures are attempted but are usually inaccurate or awkward. Frequent errors impede smooth reading.
