Student answer (Band 5.5)
Certain individuals reckon that it is good to take into consideration of an unhappy incidence like not good working area or distruption of monetary aspect, while other believe that it is worthwhile to attempt and improvise the case. In my opinion, people should accept the unforeseen situation, but keep moving by making things better for future is equally relevant. This essay will discuss both the views in detail and will provide a logical conclusion.
There are plenty of reasons due to which agreeing to what happened is vital. Firslty, this is a self-realisation of things happening around us, as we cannot control everything. As a result, humans will be able to spend sometime thinking there are lacking. To exemplify, it is important to identify and learn various factors which could be linked to the occurence of an incidence. Another reason behind this is that how to bring a change within yourself of handling it better next time, as it not only changes the perspective, but also enable to view positive side towards it.
On the other hand, a significant number of people mention that after accepting they need to make scenarois better. To begin with, there would be no point on being depressed onto something, as that will not help. For instance, folks might have to work onto themselves, as, adding a skillset could be useful and may option various pathways for better paying jobs.t should be considered as a blessing in disguise. Moreover, life is so dynamic that we need to agree that constant is the new change.
In conclusion, viewpoints are divided on taking into account of a scene or go for the extra mile. Although there are valid reasons behind both the perspectives, I believe that a prefect blend of both is needed in order to strike the right combination.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The candidate addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views—that of accepting a bad situation and that of trying to improve it—while clearly presenting a personal opinion. The position is maintained throughout the essay, notably in the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed and lack clear articulation due to phrasing issues. For instance, the discussion on self-realisation and bringing about internal change touches upon relevant points, but the examples provided in the body paragraphs remain somewhat vague and general, such as mentioning 'a skillset could be useful and may option various pathways'. Overall, the task is addressed adequately, placing it at a Band 6 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph-by-paragraph structure, including an introduction, two body paragraphs addressing opposing views, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal progression, such as 'Firslty', 'Another reason behind this', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, referencing and cohesion can be somewhat mechanical or awkward at times, as seen in sentences like 'Another reason behind this is that how to bring a change within yourself'. Furthermore, paragraphing is utilised, but the flow of ideas within paragraphs occasionally falters due to grammatical and lexical awkwardness, warranting a Band 6 score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common lexical items such as 'self-realisation', 'blessing in disguise', and 'dynamic'. However, there are frequent inappropriate word choices, awkward collocations, and word-formation errors throughout the response. Examples include 'unhappy incidence' instead of 'unpleasant situation', 'distruption of monetary aspect' instead of 'financial difficulties', 'improvise the case' instead of 'improve the situation', and 'option various pathways' instead of 'open up various pathways'. These inaccuracies sometimes obscure meaning, but they do not entirely impede communication, which aligns with Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating conditional and subordinate clauses such as 'Although there are valid reasons behind both the perspectives, I believe that...'. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with a high frequency of errors throughout the text. Noticeable issues include preposition misuse ('taking into consideration of', 'depressed onto something'), subject-verb agreement problems ('while other believe'), tense inconsistencies, and awkward syntactic structures ('thinking there are lacking', 'constant is the new change'). These errors cause frequent strain for the reader and prevent the grammar from reaching a higher band, placing it at Band 5.0.
