Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the contemporary era, accepting a reality is a debating issue. Some fragments of society believe that it's best to face the condition as it is while other assert to work for it. This essay will cover both views and give opinion .I take side to improve the situation.
One of the most significant reasons is the will power of a person. A mentally strong person face the worse scenario with hard work and dedication and eventually lands into number of solutions for the problems. For instance, a strong female when face any cyber crime related issue report the incident to the authorities and live a peaceful life by getting a positive result on the other hand a a emotionally weak female never even try and falls into anxiety or depression. Same is the case of a brave general of a nation.
Another reason is the social and economic condition of a person. If a person have to support a large family and to manage the finance face a biased and a bully behavior of a boss or other colleagues and never respond to the situation eventually falls into the mentally and physically exhausted. For example, Many teachers in the schools face the rude attitude of the headmistress every day especially in the subcontinent just to support their families.
To conclude, a strong mind lives in a healthy body and a mentally weak mind left a person with weak body. I believe that its best to try hard to make thing work rather then to sit idle and do nothing

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views—accepting a bad situation versus trying to improve it—and states a clear personal opinion in the introduction ("I take side to improve the situation"). However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and relies on sweeping generalisations. For instance, the example of a cybercrime victim or a teacher facing a rude headmistress is introduced to support the arguments, but the explanation remains brief and slightly underdeveloped. While all parts of the task are addressed, the depth of discussion is characteristic of a Band 6.0 performance, where ideas are relevant but require further extension and clearer support.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable overall structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised, although the body paragraphs tend to bundle multiple distinct ideas together without smooth transitions. Cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or faulty, such as the abrupt phrase "on the other hand a a emotionally weak female" and repetitive sentence openings ("Another reason is..."). Referencing is occasionally unclear, which disrupts the logical flow. Progression is present, but overall cohesion sits at a Band 5.5 level due to these mechanical transitions and referencing issues.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary range for the task, attempting some less common phrases such as "contemporary era" and "emotionally weak". However, there are notable word choice and collocation errors throughout the text, including "accepting a reality is a debating issue" instead of debatable issue, "lands into number of solutions", and "falls into the mentally and physically exhausted". Spelling and morphological slips are also present ("a a emotionally weak", "thing work rather then"). These errors do not completely impede communication, placing the lexical control squarely at Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as "If a person have to support... and manage the finance face a biased and a bully behavior", and missing plural markers. Punctuation is also weak, with missing commas in conditional or introductory clauses and run-on sentences in the conclusion ("I believe that its best to try hard to make thing work rather then to sit idle and do nothing"). Because errors occur frequently and occasionally cause the reader some difficulty, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
