IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued by some people acepting a bad situation is a good. Meanwhile, others argue that improving the bad situations are more better. However, improve the unsatisfactory situation is good because it improve the mental well-being.
On the one hand, supporters of the one idea accepting a situation like shortage of money learn people how to survive. As if people accepting a situation which are not in their favour so they are able to live in each and every situation. Take the example of China, where people are forced to live in harsh condition like no money and no good environmental condition, they proves such people can survive more as compared to others.
While on the other hand, the advocates of the view that improving the situation are best promo te that this is good for health. As when we try to improve our bad time then one day I achieve the good situation and feel much more relax. Take the example of Japan, a survey conducted which showed that 70% of people which try to improve their situation they can changed their life one day.
However, in my opinion trying to improve unhealthy situation is good for mental well-being. As if we live in good environmental condition then we grow well and feel relaxed all time.
To sum up, even though accepting a situation like unsatisfactory condition and shortage of money is good, but I believe that trying to improve such situation are better well-being of the people.
