Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. Both the aruements are true but from my perstective,we want to try for the improvement of all our bad situations because bad situation is a sign of good situation.
proponents of people believe that "it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money" think that it is not a solution to find an other thing they believe that we want to be happy with the thing you have and dont fight for the thing which is not in your hand.for example,it i have a small car i dont want t fight for bigger one be happy with your life.
On the other hand, people who argue that "it is better to effort and improve such situations" beleive that nothing is impossible we only want effort and get all the things. No one can burn with the golden spoon everyone effort with blood and sweats and became successful.for example, ronaldo the famous football player was a crush collector at first then he fought with his situation and became a famous footballer.
In conclusion, if you do effort you will be successful in life and there are plenty of example how fought with his life and became successful therefore we want to do effort and successful in life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address all parts of the task by discussing both views on whether to accept or improve a bad situation and provides a personal opinion, stating that one should always strive for improvement. However, the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed, lacking depth in reasoning and specific, fully realised examples. Furthermore, the length requirement of 250 words is not met, as the response contains only 246 words. This slight short-length results in a minor penalty in Task Achievement. The student establishes a clear position in the introduction and reiterates it in the conclusion, but the overall development of arguments remains constrained by the brief expansion of examples such as the mention of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an overall structure consisting of an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. The student relies on basic connectors like 'On the other hand' and 'In conclusion', but the transitions between sentences are often abrupt due to spacing and punctuation issues (e.g., missing spaces after commas and periods). Paragraphing is attempted, but internal logical progression is hampered by run-on sentences and inadequate referencing. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or over-used in a repetitive manner, leading to an overall arrangement that lacks smooth flow and clear signposting for the reader.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, with frequent reliance on everyday words and phrases such as 'bad situation', 'good situation', and 'do effort'. There are noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations, such as 'crunch collector' instead of 'trash collector' or 'crush collector', 'burn with the golden spoon' instead of 'born with a silver spoon', and 'do effort' instead of 'make an effort'. These errors and the limited range of vocabulary mean that lexical resource is minimally adequate for the task, causing occasional difficulty for the reader and restricting the score to the lower-intermediate band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is weak. There are frequent errors throughout the text, including punctuation errors (missing spaces after punctuation marks), subject-verb agreement issues ('Both the aruements are true', 'how fought with his life'), and incorrect prepositions or verb forms ('we want to try', 'we only want effort'). Additionally, run-on sentences and awkward phrasing disrupt readability. While the meaning can generally be extracted, the high frequency of grammatical and mechanical errors prevents the response from achieving a higher band.
