IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, people try to do their best in every situation no matter what is happening around them. They are trying to improve their ability, skills and knowledge.

Some people believe that it is way better to accept a bad situation, such as unsatisfactory jobs or shortage of money rather than try and improve such situations.

Once a wise person said that "Try try again till you succeed". So, for the better situations people try again and again, they motivated themselves to do even better. They improve themselves learn from their mistakes for the best outcomes.

Firstly, unsatisfactory job is the worst thing that can happened. People work hard, share their ideas being loyal to their workplace but at the end they did not get enough salary and shortage of money is the mani reason for this. Some companies offers good salary packages, trips, commissions, activities and many more things which makes people feel satisfied but if it is not like this they feel unsatisfied, tired, stressed and frustrated which can make them under confident and less valuable.

Secondly, many people visits other companies and offices gives interviews at different workplaces and try everywhere to improve their situations. They learn new skills, advanced technology, and built confidence for the new challenges they will face in future but after these conditions they will get everything which they are giving efforts for their better future.

Overall, I think that it is much better to give such efforts and try again for the completion and futher success in their lives.
