Student answer (Band 5.5)
Answer: Today we live in the odern era where everybody has to do job or any source of income to live. Some people beleive that it is best to accept a bad situation such as an unsatisfactory job or shoratge of money. But i beleive that it is better to try and improve such situations. In the forthcoming paragraphs i will discuss that how to improve a situation and why it is important to keep trying and improve such situations.
Firstly, Life is not a bed of roses. Everything is not perfect. If somebody is doing unsatisfactory job or shoratage of money, He/She has not to give up. If he/She accept the situation he/she will suffer a big loss becuase if he/she tries resign the company enhance his/her skills find new another best options will be available for her/him. Firstly he/she has experience and moreover for switching one company to another there is also a 100% chance of salary rise. Then anybody can escape from bad situation such as an unsatisfactyory job or shoratage of money.
There is very difficult survival for person who has no job or any source of income.
Secondly, If we accept our bad situation then we can not grow and successful in our life. A person learn in every phase of life. If a person gets handsome salary but stuck in an unsatisfactory job than for some time he/she has to accept the situation but not for a long time.
In conclution i say that we have to work hard and never give up. This is the main reason of every nation and country's development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses both views required by the prompt—that it is best to accept a bad situation versus trying to improve it—and clearly states the writer's own opinion that improvement is better. The ideas are relevant and generally supported with reasons, such as mentioning experience, salary rises, and personal growth. However, some arguments are repetitive and lack full academic development. For instance, the point regarding career progression is stated several times without deeply exploring the psychological or economic factors involved. Nevertheless, the main parts of the task are covered adequately, placing the response firmly at Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable overall structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is attempted, though some paragraphs are quite brief or poorly demarcated, such as the single-sentence paragraph regarding survival. Cohesive devices like 'Firstly' and 'Secondly' are used to sequence ideas, but referencing is occasionally faulty, such as in the phrase 'if he/she tries resign the company enhance his/her skills find new another best options will be available for her/him,' where connections between clauses are clunky and mechanical. Progression is evident, but the lack of smooth transitions limits the overall flow, aligning with the Band 5.5 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, touching upon relevant topics like 'unsatisfactory job', 'shortage of money', and 'career progression'. However, there are numerous spelling errors ('odern' for modern, 'beleive' for believe, 'shoratge' for shortage, 'conclution' for conclusion) and noticeable word choice issues, such as 'try resign' instead of 'try to resign' and 'new another best options'. These inaccuracies and frequent spelling mistakes restrict the score to a Band 5.0, as they occasionally cause strain for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional structures ('If a person gets handsome salary but stuck in an unsatisfactory job than...'). However, grammatical accuracy is weak throughout. There are frequent missing prepositions, incorrect verb forms ('He/She has not to give up'), and punctuation issues. Many complex constructions contain errors, such as 'In the forthcoming paragraphs i will discuss that how to improve a situation'. While the meaning is generally decipherable, the density of errors prevents the grammar from reaching a higher band, making Band 5.0 the most accurate assessment.
