Student answer (Band 5.0)

While when we look at the following topic which is some people believe that it is good that we should accept poor situation for example short of income or dis-satisfied job. While other persons argue that it is better that we try and improve the situation'

Human beings who discuss that it will be good for them to embrace the siuation with which we are not appealed . For Example they coincide the situation and stop doing the same thing if it will be their source of economy which is not acceptable for their families if they are the only source of income. This disheart will lead to the poorest situation.

Meanwhile on the other hand when we saw a person who is willing to alleviate its situation are more successful . For Example that if any student is not that good in doing maths but he do not give up and he try again and again until he get prosperous in the particular subject .

In my opinion Public with the mentality that not accepting defeat but helping themselves to make their situation better and get victory in whatever they want to do are the indviduals who will become the most powerfull human beings .

While when we conclude it is very easy that the solution for the group of persons who acccept the bas environment or the environment which is not acceptable for them they should read books on succesul people and get therapies from the therapists so they will help them to raise their morale which will be helpfull for them in the future .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the task only partially. While both views regarding whether to accept or improve difficult situations are mentioned, the ideas are limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on accepting a poor situation mentions short income or an unsatisfactory job, but it lacks clear extension or well-reasoned support. Furthermore, your position is stated in the fourth paragraph, but it is not always clear or consistently maintained throughout the essay due to the fragmented nature of the arguments. To reach the next level, you need to ensure that both perspectives are explored more fully with detailed explanations and relevant examples, and your personal opinion should be clearly stated in the introduction and reinforced throughout the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some overall organisation with distinct paragraph breaks, but the response lacks clear overall progression. The logical flow between sentences and paragraphs is frequently disrupted. For example, transitioning between ideas relies heavily on repetitive or awkward phrases like 'While when we look at the following topic' and 'Meanwhile on the other hand'. Cohesive devices are often inadequate or inaccurate, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought. To improve, you should use a wider variety of accurate cohesive markers and ensure that each paragraph builds logically upon the previous one with clear referencing and a unified theme.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word formation, and collocation that can cause some difficulty for the reader. Examples include 'poor situation' instead of 'difficult situation', 'short of income' instead of 'shortage of income', and 'dis-satisfied job' instead of 'unsatisfactory job'. Additionally, terms like 'economies' and 'therapies from the therapists' are used inappropriately. To achieve a higher score, you need to expand your vocabulary range, use less common lexical items with greater precision, and pay closer attention to word forms and natural collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, and your attempts at complex sentences are often faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader. For example, sentences often begin with redundant clauses and lack main verbs, such as 'Human beings who discuss that it will be good for them to embrace the siuation with which we are not appealed .' Subject-verb agreement errors, incorrect verb tenses (e.g., 'he do not give up'), and awkward phrasing are widespread throughout the essay. To improve, you need to practice forming grammatically sound complex sentences, ensure correct subject-verb agreement, and carefully proofread your work to reduce frequent structural errors.
