Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary, era it is a bitter reality that a category of school follow the ideology of surviving in some unwilling conditions even they are unsatisfied with an employment or if they are suffering from financial issues, while other recomends that trying to make these tragic situations better is beneficial.
There are some particular reasons behind individual's mindset of not improving there conditions . Firstly these masses usually lack cofidence and courage to leave that particular problem and tend to adopt some reasonable solutions. Moreover some masses beleive that there might be a possibility of unemployment if they leave a sector just for sake of conveinience and money . this stops them to get better oportounities in thier lives. Lastly, I would say that this chaos is mostly because of ignorance that still is present in this world usually in under developed countries where masses don't prefer to take risks.
The particular mindset of improving situations mostly stands on some basic facts. First and foremost, this category of school usually have courage and determination to do something in their lives which allows them to try to make matters sound good . Secondly, the race of becoming best in this era intrigues individuals to take some steps that may results good in their favour. Last but not least, when someone gets married he/she realises that he/she has to take initiatives beacause from now they don't only have to look after theirselves but also to their newcomers, surely . These are some main reasons of advancements in people way of thinking. I strongly believe that one must take risks in his life that can bring happiness to lives.
To sum up my disscusion i would say that although masses find it difficult for them to take bold initiatives but they must take some sustainable initial steps that can improve their harsh conditions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—accepting difficult situations versus attempting to improve them—and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is uneven. For instance, the explanation of why some people accept bad situations mentions a lack of confidence and fear of unemployment, but these points remain somewhat under-developed and general. Similarly, the arguments for improving situations, such as personal ambition and family responsibilities, are introduced but lack specific examples or deeper elaboration. The ideas are relevant and fulfill the basic requirements of the prompt, but the overall extension of arguments sits comfortably within the targeted band.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay demonstrates a clear overall progression and logical arrangement of ideas, moving from an introduction to body paragraphs discussing each view, and concluding with a personal stance. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to separate distinct themes. Cohesive devices are employed to connect sentences and paragraphs, such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'Last but not least'. However, some of these cohesive links and referencing mechanisms feel slightly mechanical or repetitive, such as the repeated use of 'This category of school' to refer to groups of people. While it fully meets the requirements of the lower band, it shows glimpses of clearer logical organization that bring it into the higher range.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, with attempts to incorporate less common items and academic phrases such as 'contemporary era', 'bitter reality', and 'sustainable initial steps'. However, there are noticeable limitations and inaccuracies in word choice, collocation, and spelling that reflect a restricted range. For example, the student writes 'category of school' instead of 'group of people', 'unwilling conditions' instead of 'unfavourable conditions', and 'cofidence', 'conveinience', 'oportounities', 'thier', and 'beacause' contain spelling mistakes. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they restrict the lexical score due to frequent strain on the reader caused by imprecise language and word formation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response exhibits a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on basic forms while attempts at complex sentences are frequently marred by structural errors. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing articles, subject-verb agreement issues like 'masses beleive', incorrect prepositions such as 'in people way of thinking', and awkward relative clauses. For example, phrases like 'a category of school follow' and 'looks after theirselves' display grammatical inaccuracies. Although the meaning can generally be deciphered, the frequency of errors in basic and complex structures causes some difficulty for the reader and prevents the writing from achieving a higher level of grammatical control.
