Student answer (Band 5.5)
People have different views about whether Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money where as other thinks that better to try and improve bad situations. This essay dicuss both perspectives and I believe that better to improve bad situations instead of accepting such situations.
To begin with, supporters of the view argue that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. This is because their is a plenty of competition in the present generation for jobs, jobs are less than the eduacated people that makes a person can face diffcult to find his favourite stream or job.By this a person can join any other job which he got offer that makes a person with less pay and also he need to accpet the situation and need to work. For example, a person with poverty background who complete eduaction and trying for good job chances but he didnot find any as he requires but his family wages depend on his, so need to accept the situation and join any job. Therefore, leads to unsatisfactory of job as well as pay but he need to accpet the situation.
On the other hand, other believe that better to improve bad situations instead of accepting such situations. This is because unintrested job or role makes a person feels more stress his life and also he didnot get his assumed package . Instead of accpeting this problems better to overcome that makes person very happy and he also get good role in his life. For exapmle, if a person who tried for a one role without diverting to other at any cost that makes a diffcult at the initial stages upto he get a role after oce he got chance its give a good and happy life to his and his family throughout the life.
In my opinion, better to improve bad situations than accepting the such situtions to get good and stres less life for entire carrier.
In conclusion, although that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. I believe that better to improve bad situations instead of accepting such situations is more convincing because by improving situations makes person happy and get good pay as well as he got a stressless life in his entire carrier.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on accepting versus improving bad situations and providing a clear personal position. Fifty-seven words copied directly from the task prompt were not counted towards the overall word count. While the main ideas are relevant, some are under-developed or somewhat repetitive, particularly the body paragraphs which rely on similar examples of poverty and job dissatisfaction without fully extending the arguments. To reach a higher band, the writer would need to explore more diverse implications of both perspectives with deeper explanations and more fully developed supporting examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance stated in the introduction and reinforced in the conclusion. Paragraphing is used to separate the introduction, two body paragraphs, the writer's opinion, and the conclusion. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or faulty, with repetitive transition phrases and occasional referencing issues, such as unclear pronoun links. For instance, phrases like 'To begin with' and 'On the other hand' are used, but the internal logical flow between sentences occasionally stumbles, such as in the second body paragraph where ideas merge without smooth transitional bridges. Improving the precision of cohesive ties would elevate this aspect.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'unsatisfactory job', 'poverty background', and 'perspectives'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that occur throughout the response, including 'where as', 'other thinks', 'eduacated', 'diffcult', 'accpet', 'unintrested', and 'stres less'. While these errors do not severely impede communication, they restrict the score to a lower band. To improve, the writer needs to expand their control of word forms, collocations, and accurate spelling to achieve greater precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response features a mix of simple and some complex sentence forms, attempting structures like conditional clauses and relative relationships. However, grammatical control is weak, with frequent errors in verb forms, tense consistency, article usage, and clause structure. Examples include 'there is a plenty of competition', 'that makes a person can face diffcult', 'he complete eduaction and trying for good job chances', and 'upto he get a role'. These errors require effort from the reader to parse meaning. To progress, the writer must focus on foundational grammatical accuracy, correct subject-verb agreement, and better structural control in complex sentences.
