Student answer (Band 6.5)
Whether individuals should give acceptance a priority over satisfaction in their lives has become a major topic of discussion in recent times. While some people argue that individuals should accept their fate and continue to stay in a situation even if they are not satisfies, others beleive that people should bring change and improve their situation with time. In my opinoin,i agree with the latter view because trying to get out of bad situation is much better to stay in it.
On the one hand, people who argue that it is better to continue doing an unsatisfactory job often believe that most of the people lack courage to bring change in their lives as they are afraid of the consequences. For instance, searching for a new job is pretty hectic process and some people find it quite frustrating. If they resign from their previous roles due to low income or unsatisfactory work environment, they will have to invest their energy in finding a good role in another company and if they are unable to do so because of increased competition, they might have to stay unemployed for a longer period of time which they cannot tolerate.
On the other hand, the supporters of the opposite view claim that it is better to quit an unsatisfactory job role and seek for some good opportunites because trying and taking risk in life are key factors in making a professional life successful. If inidividuals are resistant to bring change in their lives, their growth will be stagnant and they will never be able to succeed in life.I strongly agree with this perspective, because change is very necessary for personal growth and physical and mental wellbeing. For example, one of my friend was not satisfied with the work environment of his company as he had to work till late at night. He suffered from some serious muscle strain for sitting too long on the chair. He quit his job as it was bringing detrimental affects to his health and later joined a company with flexible work hours. He is doing perfectly fine now as the change he brought proved fruitful for him.
In conclusion, although both points are valid, i personally agree that people should bring change in their lives for betterment rather than staying in a bad situation because this will help them growing and seeking good opportunities. Therefore, it is essential for the individuals who fear that change will bring serious consequences and they will not be able to face them, should read personal growth books and keep themselves motivated as staying in a bad situation by choice may prove bad for their physical and mental health.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both views and state a clear preference for trying to improve a bad situation, particularly through the discussion of changing jobs. The examples about job-search risks and your friend’s health make the argument relevant, and the conclusion restates your position. This meets the task well, but the two sides are not developed equally: the first paragraph mainly explains fear and practical difficulty, while the case for accepting a situation could be explored more fully, for example by discussing when stability or financial responsibilities make acceptance sensible. The final suggestion to read personal-growth books is also introduced without support. More balanced development and a clearer link between each example and the broader issue would strengthen the response further.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the progression, and the example about your friend is placed appropriately within the argument for change. However, some connections are mechanical, and several sentences carry multiple ideas joined by “and” or “because,” making the reasoning less easy to follow. The conclusion also adds advice about reading books that has not been prepared in the body. Use clearer sentence boundaries and make each paragraph’s supporting points build more deliberately toward its main claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including phrases such as “consequences,” “increased competition,” “personal growth,” and “detrimental effects.” These choices help explain both the risks of change and its potential benefits. There are also attempts at more formal vocabulary, but some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “acceptance a priority,” “seek for some good opportunities,” and “bring change.” Spelling errors including “beleive,” “opportunites,” and “inidividuals” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural combinations such as “accept a difficult situation,” “seek better opportunities,” and “make a change,” and proofread carefully so that spelling and word forms do not distract from your ideas.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex structures, including conditional sentences such as “if they resign … they will have to invest their energy” and a relative clause in “a company with flexible work hours.” Meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical and punctuation errors remain. For example, “one of my friend was” needs plural agreement (“one of my friends was”), and “this will help them growing” needs a different verb pattern (“help them grow”). The opening also runs sentences together after “recent times,” and several long sentences would benefit from clearer punctuation. Review articles, agreement, verb patterns, and sentence boundaries while retaining the complex structures you already attempt.
