Student answer (Band 5.5)
There are split opinions regarding the topic is discussed. While some individuals advocate that they are not happy with their job or earning, others are of the opinion that it is the opportunity that improve the skills and try to change circumstances. This essay will explore the valid reasons with appropriate examnoples in the ensuing parfagraphs.
Discussing the former opinion the formost argument that proponrnts put forward is that people think that their job is very low paying and that is why they are facing some finacial chllanges but they dont focus on improving their skills also they critisize the compny or work or time rather then improving self.In addition they constantly stay in loop of working in a same seatuation this means that they want to change the curcamstances buty they dont want to put efforts towewrds this.
Conversely, the supportes of the opposite opinion having their own arguments. To begin with some individuals are thinking that if they try to learn somthing new that it will give extra value and space in their or some other compny also. Relatively changing and improving the skills or learning will increase the source of income and earning. To reformulate constantly growing in knowladge is helping to change finacial setuation and also other setuation can be change whith improvement.
To reiterate, although continously growing mindset as it mantion in second view i support that view because it is necssroy to every people who working in privet sector compnies day by day improvement of the skills will give a significnat changes in their lifes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and state a preference for improving one’s circumstances, particularly through developing skills. The contrast between blaming a company or circumstances and making an effort to improve is relevant, and the final paragraph makes your position clear. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the reasons for accepting a bad situation are not explained convincingly, and the opposing view is mainly presented as learning new skills to earn more. The task also asks for relevant examples, but none is clearly provided. Some statements, such as “they want to change the circumstances but they don’t want to put efforts,” are difficult to interpret as an argument. Explain why someone might accept a situation, then support each view with a specific example and develop your opinion more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding opinion. Connectors such as “In addition,” “Conversely,” and “To reiterate” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some linking phrases feel mechanical or do not accurately express the relationship between ideas. For example, “Relatively” does not clearly connect the point about learning to the claim about income, while “To reformulate” introduces a restatement without adding a clear step in the argument. References such as “this” and “that view” can also be vague. Use simpler, more precise transitions and make each paragraph develop one main point in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to work and financial circumstances, including “low paying,” “improving their skills,” “source of income,” and “financial situation.” These choices show that you can communicate the general topic. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “examnoples,” “finacial chllanges,” and “curcamstances.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “stay in loop of working in a same situation” and “give extra value and space in their or some other company.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, use “remain trapped in the same situation” and “improve their employment prospects” to express these ideas more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrastive opening with “While” and a conditional idea beginning “if they try to learn something new.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence construction make some meaning hard to follow. The opening, “There are split opinions regarding the topic is discussed,” combines incompatible structures; a clearer version would be “Opinions are divided on this issue.” Other examples include “the opportunity that improve the skills,” where the verb form and sentence structure are unclear, and “other situation can be change,” which has errors in agreement and passive form. Work on building complete sentences, matching subjects and verbs, and using articles and verb forms consistently. Punctuation and spacing around commas also need attention.
