Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this competitive era, competition has become a common thing in every aspect of life. Competition at a workplace in not an exception. Every indivudial needs to fight against competitive race to have a secure and better future. Some individuals have an opinion stating that is the good to accept a bad situtation, to name a few; not having enough money flow or not being satisfied with the current job status. Whereas, other argue that one should not give up and try hard to improve their destiny and turn worst situations into the best possible. This eassay delves into both the opposite arguements, and a logical conclusion will be stated.
To embrak with, the analysis of the former statement reveals an idea that some situations are not in the hands of humans and one shoud not try to change the fate rather be satisfied with whatever they posses. This statement applies more in the sense of job satisfaction or having less money. For instance, folks having a job at a low position should be satisfied with whatever they have instead of being selfish about landing a higher job seat. Showing more selfishness or being greddy can sometimes lead to a major life problem. Not having enough money can make onef get on a wrong track such as borrowing money from others and not returning back on time can lead to a serious problem sometimes, which stands as a paragon here.
However, although one should be satsfied with whatever they have can, at times stop an individual to grow in life. A well said statement " Hardwork is the key to success" proves the later notion. Though there should always be a sense of satisfaction but that does not mean one should not do hard work to change their life situations into more better days. To cite an example, for people having an unsatisfactory job, working day and night burning the midnight oil can help them grow and secure promotion making them earn more and feel satisfied. Having a mediocare lifestyle by born is proved to be fine but not working for the better future and not trying to improve the worst situation one is going through is proved to be of a coward nature.
On the close scrutiny, I conclude that hardworking skill can change the destiny of an individual and get them to a better place rather than being stuck at an unsaticfied position in life and blaming the destiny for it or not taking the risk for a better career

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear preference for trying to improve one’s circumstances, especially in the conclusion. The examples about seeking promotion and the risks of borrowing money are relevant to the topic. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the case for accepting a difficult situation relies mainly on being satisfied and avoiding greed, without considering when acceptance may be practical or necessary. Some claims, such as describing ambition as selfish or improvement as a matter of hard work alone, are broad and need explanation. To strengthen the response, clarify the conditions under which acceptance may be sensible, then support your own position with a more specific example and a fuller explanation of how effort can improve circumstances.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding opinion. Transitions such as “However” and “To cite an example” help readers follow the discussion, and the main position is easy to identify. This already gives the essay a coherent progression. At times, though, linking is formulaic, with phrases such as “To embrak with” and “On the close scrutiny” drawing attention to themselves rather than connecting ideas naturally. Some sentences also contain several points, making the relationship between them less clear. Use simpler, more precise transitions and make each paragraph’s central claim explicit before adding its example and explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related and less common expressions, including “burning the midnight oil,” “secure promotion,” and “competitive era.” This shows an effort to vary vocabulary, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, and spelling errors are noticeable: “indivudial,” “eassay,” “greddy,” and “mediocare.” Phrases such as “fight against competitive race,” “money flow,” and “turn worst situations into the best possible” make some ideas harder to understand. Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than ornate wording, and proofread spelling carefully. For example, “compete in the job market,” “limited income,” and “improve difficult circumstances” would express your intended meanings more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “although” and “though,” and most of the argument remains understandable. However, some sentence structures are faulty or awkward. For example, “some individuals have an opinion stating that is the good to accept” is missing a clear grammatical construction, while “one should be satsfied with whatever they have can, at times stop” has an unclear clause structure. There are also errors in agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “other argue” and the long final sentence, which lacks a full stop. Work on building complete clauses, checking subject–verb agreement, and dividing long sentences so that each relationship between ideas is clear.
