Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some say it is best to accept a bad situation, such as unsatifactory job or lack of money while other argue that is best to try and improve such situtations. I belive it is better to try to improve the situation as bad times are just temporary phase of one's life

Everyone has to face a bad situtation once in their life, Sometimes it may feel like everything is working against us. Some continue to work in same company for years even thought there is no growth or any motivation left to work because everyone wants money to survive. Bad situtaion always teaches a lesson, one will always end up learning in such situtaion as a result they won't take anything for granted. For example a person who is failed in example multiple time who lost all the hope, he or she won't able to over this bad situation if the person does not change the sitution such as reflecting on mistake repeating and steps need to improve. I believe these sitation are tempory, if one keep improving even in bad time, they will get able to get out of such situtation

Sometime bad time come to make you stronger than before, it's all about one's perpertive how to view things. A glass filled with half water, some will only look at the empty glass while other look at the side of where glass is filled with water. Change is the only the contanst thing this worlds, So never give up on dream and always try to improve the situtation. For example, elon musk who used to work day and night continuosly without any complaint, accepting whatever the life throws at him, now he is a billioniar, founder of spacex.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a clear preference for improving difficult circumstances, and the examples about remaining in an unmotivating job and learning from failure are relevant to that view. However, the task asks you to discuss both perspectives, and acceptance is not explained as a distinct position: the Elon Musk example is also unclear because it describes accepting hardship while working to change one’s circumstances. Several points remain general, such as “bad times are just temporary,” and the examples are not developed enough to show how they support the argument. To strengthen the response, explain why some people accept a situation—for example, because of financial responsibilities or limited alternatives—then compare that view with your own and support each side with a clear, specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an opening statement followed by two body paragraphs, and the reader can identify your overall preference. Some sequencing is also visible through phrases such as “For example” and “As a result.” However, the discussion does not progress clearly from one view to the other: the paragraphs largely repeat the idea that people should improve their circumstances, and the acceptance viewpoint is not given its own organised treatment. Connections between sentences are sometimes unclear, particularly in the example about a person who fails repeatedly. Plan one paragraph for each view and a final paragraph that states your judgement. Use linking phrases to show contrast and cause, but make sure each sentence clearly refers to the previous idea rather than relying on repeated references to “bad situation.”

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “motivation,” “reflecting on mistakes,” “temporary,” and “perspective,” and phrases such as “take anything for granted” show an attempt to express ideas beyond basic statements. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “bad situation” and “improve.” Frequent spelling errors, including “unsatifactory,” “situtation,” and “contanst,” make the writing less clear and reduce the accuracy of your word choices. Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “failed in example multiple time.” Build a small set of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. More precise alternatives can help you explain financial pressure, job dissatisfaction, and efforts to change circumstances.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional idea in “if one keep improving even in bad time,” and you use clauses beginning with “because” and “who.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Some continue to work in same company” needs an article, while “one will always end up learning” shifts awkwardly from the plural subject “Everyone.” The sentence beginning “For example a person…” is especially difficult to interpret because its clauses are not joined clearly. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation.
