Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, especially in the conclusion. The discussion of accepting a poor job is relevant and explains the pressure to provide for a family; the second view also offers a practical example of gaining skills while keeping a stable income. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the first is mainly explained through financial obligations, while the benefits and possible challenges of changing a situation could be explored further. Your position is clearest at the end, but the introduction says only that your viewpoint will follow. State your opinion directly there and explain more fully why taking action is preferable overall.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion. The progression within the second body paragraph—from learning skills to applying for better jobs—also helps the reader follow the example. You use signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude,” though some transitions feel formulaic, and phrases such as “This is to say” and “This means” repeat the same explanatory function. The introduction promises your viewpoint but postpones it until the conclusion, so the argument’s direction is not fully clear from the outset. State your position earlier and use more varied links between claims and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You show an adequate range for discussing the topic, including terms such as “unfavourable situations,” “obligations,” “stable source of income,” and “personal finances.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, several phrases are unnatural or imprecise, including “striving personality,” “make a shift,” and “job required skills.” There are also spelling errors such as “unplesant” and “imporves,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully; precise wording will make your reasoning sound more convincing without requiring more elaborate vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “while,” and “in order to.” Most of the meaning remains clear, but some grammatical errors occur in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction. For example, “One side believe” should be “One side believes,” and “it is best to taking steps” should be “it is best to take steps.” In “there are many individuals who support accepting the negative situations have several reasons,” the clauses are not joined correctly. Review subject–verb agreement and infinitive patterns, and simplify sentences when several ideas are being combined. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen the response.
