Student answer (Band 4.5)

In recent years, few individual argue that it is better to accept a bad situation, such as ansatisfactory job or shortage of money according to situation, While other believe that, it is best to try and make more efforts to enhance such as timelines. In this I will discuss both the views before giving my own opinion in the following paragraphs with suitable examples.

On the one hand, it is very common concerns in every human life and there are few reasons of this problem. Firstly, people have no experience in any types of the sector and people do not join less money jobs in a present days. For example, if person accept a bad situation in their life than they will become a successful person in the world but firstly people have more passion and work hard in sector.

On the other hand, people always try to make best efforts in the jobs so, they can become a best person in the firms and boss gives a bonus and they receive best employer medal in the company. For instance, if person situation is a bad so, person can work hard and give more dedication to work and always try to best in work place

In conclusion, I think people always accept bad situation and learn so many thing from this situation after they will become a successful person in the life and people often try to improve situation in sector so, they can earn more money and happy in the life and always try to best in workplace.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You attempt to discuss both accepting a difficult situation and trying to improve it, and you include a personal view in the conclusion. However, the discussion only partially addresses the task because the reasons are unclear or do not directly explain the two positions. For example, the first body paragraph mentions lacking experience and then says accepting a bad situation can lead to success, without explaining how acceptance helps. The second paragraph gives a more relevant idea—that effort may lead to a bonus or recognition—but does not develop it with a clear example. Your conclusion also appears to support both views, so your own position is not consistently clear. Explain each view with a specific reason and example, then state which you consider better.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs signposted with “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader some basic organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is weak: ideas are often placed next to one another without a clear relationship, as in the first body paragraph’s shift from lack of experience to accepting a bad situation and becoming successful. Linking phrases such as “Firstly,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” are used, but they do not consistently clarify the logic, and the conclusion combines ideas without resolving the discussion. Build each paragraph around one main point, explain it, and connect the example explicitly to that point. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow who is acting and what “this situation” refers to.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary is basic and repetitive, with frequent reliance on general words such as “people,” “situation,” “best,” and “work.” Some phrases make the intended meaning difficult to identify, including “enhance such as timelines,” “best employer medal,” and “best person in the firms.” There are also noticeable word-choice and spelling problems, for example “ansatisfactory” and “make best efforts.” These errors sometimes strain the reader’s understanding, which limits the effectiveness of your message. You do make attempts to discuss employment and financial circumstances, but more precise, natural collocations would help. Learn useful phrases for this topic, such as “improve one’s financial circumstances” and “seek better employment,” and check spelling and word forms when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and use basic structures to introduce examples and contrast, but the range is limited and errors are frequent. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent in “few individual argue” and “other believe”; articles and sentence patterns are also problematic in “if person accept a bad situation.” Several sentences run together or use punctuation inaccurately, such as “in a present days. For example,” and the final sentence joins multiple ideas without clear grammatical boundaries. These problems can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, especially agreement, articles, and plural forms, then combine them using controlled clauses. Proofread for sentence boundaries and punctuation so that each sentence expresses one complete, clear idea.
