Student answer (Band 5.5)

A group of people believes that being unsatisfied in job and finacial issues should accepted by one individual, while others argue that one should better try and improve situations. In my point of view i strongly believe that doing unsatisfactory job is better than being idle and also one should try to improve his/her situations by doing hard work.So i am basically agree with both views on some extent. This essay will discuss both views.

On the one hand, nowadays employment isuue becimg critical,as there are more manpower than job openings.so its becoming competetive day by day .so getting job in these days more like getting to see dinosaurs.Peoples who are mostly talented and creative are getting chance to secure their positions.I think no one is ever satisfied with their job, however one need to continue becaue thats the harsh reality,i think being in a unsatisfied job is far better than unemployed. For instance,in Bangladesh goverment jobs are so much competetive that for 1000 openings there are like almost 30000 candidates. Thus better to be employed rather being idle and sit in a corner of your home.

On the other hand young peoples are becoming inactive as social media destroying their skills they are now like a homesick rather than being out to face the world or reality.Shortage of money is not an issue if you are hardworking.People are more likely to fear about hardwork, hardwork and determination alone can improve any bad situations you are in.For example, one survey found that young people are nowadays more likely to create reels and being active social media rather than being employed. So thats how they are destroying their potentiallity.Furthermore young genaration should be more active to improve their situations and future.

In conclusion it is greatly reflect that unsatisfied jobs and shortage of money is not an issue, mostly it is

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views: the first body paragraph argues that an unsatisfactory job is preferable to unemployment, while the second says people should work to improve their circumstances. Your position is present, but “I strongly believe” is followed by “I am basically agree with both views,” which makes your overall stance less clear. The discussion is also only partly developed. The Bangladesh example supports the difficulty of finding work, but the second paragraph focuses heavily on social media and young people rather than explaining how someone facing a shortage of money can improve their situation. The conclusion is unfinished, so it does not clearly restate your answer. Develop each view with a direct explanation and a relevant example, then end with a complete, consistent opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and an attempted conclusion. These features help readers identify the two sides. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the discussion moves from job competition to dinosaurs, then to satisfaction and unemployment, while the second paragraph shifts from social media to money and hard work without clearly connecting the points. Linking words such as “so,” “however,” and “furthermore” are sometimes repetitive or do not show the precise relationship between ideas. The final sentence also stops before completing the conclusion. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, explain it in sequence, and use clear references and transitions to connect supporting details.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to employment and personal circumstances, including “job openings,” “competitive,” “determination,” and “potential.” There are also some attempts at expressive phrasing, such as “getting to see dinosaurs,” but this comparison is unclear in context and weakens precision. Frequent spelling and word-choice problems—including “finacial,” “isuue,” “becimg,” “competetive,” and “potentiallity”—make the writing less fluent to read. Several phrases are also unnatural, such as “being unsatisfied in job” and “improve any bad situations.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. Replacing informal or unclear expressions with precise terms such as “secure employment” and “improve one’s financial circumstances” would make your ideas easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “For instance” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “should accepted” instead of a passive form such as “should be accepted,” “one need to continue” instead of “one needs to continue,” and “I am basically agree” instead of “I basically agree.” Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: “in a unsatisfied job” and the run-on sequence “so its becoming competetive day by day .so getting job” are difficult to process. Practise complete sentence patterns, subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
