Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, some people accept difficult situations, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money because of stress and lack of patience, but it is always better to try and improve in such situations as well.
Both situations can be challenging for individuals. In modern society many people experience considerable pressure in their daily lives, both these responses have their reasons, when people are in search of jobs for a long time and when the time comes that you got a job, but still you are unstisfied with it, in this situation you can do nothing but to acceot it, because people give up so easily in these sitauations.
On the other hand some people take it as a piece of motivation and they try to improve themselves, for example: when someone dont have a lot of money but they have to improve their lifestyle not for themselves but for the sake of their families and their betterment they always try harder then before, their family poverty and sacrifices have a huge imapct on their thinking.
In conclusion, it always depends upon the situation that how an indivudual will react in a certain way. Those who are patient and are mentally mature will accept the situation and in the same time they will try to improve themselves and to be better for the future. Those who are unhappy with their life and thinks that nothing will change their fate and future will just simply accept the situation and will be happy to stay the same way rather than trying to overcome it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a position: the opening says it is “always better to try and improve,” while the conclusion suggests people may accept circumstances and also work towards improvement. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The first body paragraph gives a reason for accepting an unsatisfactory job, but the explanation that people “can do nothing but to accept it” is asserted rather than supported. The second view includes a family-focused example, yet it does not explain clearly what practical steps someone might take to improve their situation. Your final position is also not fully consistent: it first favours improvement, then describes acceptance as appropriate for some people. Make your opinion explicit and support each view with a clearer example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. “On the other hand” helps signal the shift to the opposing view, and “In conclusion” marks the ending. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow. The second paragraph combines pressure, job searching, dissatisfaction, and acceptance in one long sentence, so the relationship between these points is unclear. The final paragraph also moves between patience, maturity, acceptance, and improvement without clearly connecting them. Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “these situations” and “it” are not always precise. Use shorter, clearly focused sentences and organise each body paragraph around one main reason followed by explanation or an example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “unsatisfactory job,” “considerable pressure,” “motivation,” and “poverty and sacrifices.” These choices show an attempt to discuss personal and financial circumstances. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors reduce accuracy, including “unstisfied,” “ac cept” (written as “acceot”), “sitauations,” and “imapct.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “take it as a piece of motivation” and “their betterment.” Repetition of “situation,” “accept,” and “try” further limits flexibility. Build a more precise set of expressions for coping and taking action, and check spelling and collocations carefully so your meaning is easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “when” and “because,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. For example, “when the time comes that you got a job” shifts tense awkwardly, while “when someone dont have” has incorrect subject–verb agreement and auxiliary form. The sentence beginning “In modern society many people experience…” joins several independent ideas without suitable punctuation, making the structure hard to follow. In the conclusion, “Those who … thinks” also has an agreement error, and “how an individual will react in a certain way” is an awkwardly formed clause. Practise building one main clause at a time, then add subordinate clauses with consistent tense and correct agreement.
