Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, it is largely debated among individuals that rather they have to take steps for betterment of their career or accept the bad situation. Some people believe that it is better to adjust with your current career or financial hardships, while others argue that youngsters have to stay motivated and countinously trying to change their bad situation. In this essay, I will state the reasons why it is important to take steps for the betterment of yourself.
On the one hand, due to growing population many individuals face issues regarding job findings, therefore they come to believe that if they are successful to obtain any job they should have happily accept it. Moreover, in many countries there is no check and balance between salary wages and expenses, many youngsters earn very little money after a long hours of work but they have to manage with it on any cost as they believe that there are no opportunities available for them.
On the other hand, it is better to start with any job as individuals have to manage their expenses but it is better for them to try to overcome this situation and find better opportunities for them. Furthermore, success is for whom who try again and again and never disappointed by the initial results. A survey conducted by the World Bank in the year 2025 explained itself that 90% of sucessful businessmen are those who started from zero and face diverse difficulties at the initial stage but they never lost hope and become successful in their recpective fields.
In conclusion, from my perspective hardwork is the only framework on which an individual can work and can better their circumstances. Additionaly, financial stability is the thing that required on each an every field of life, therefore people have to put their efforts to become financialy stable.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both views and make your preference for improving circumstances clear, especially in the introduction and conclusion. The examples about accepting a job because opportunities are scarce and trying to progress from a difficult starting point are relevant to the question. However, the two positions are not explored equally: the first paragraph gives reasons people may accept hardship, but does not consider when acceptance might be sensible or beneficial. The claim about successful businesspeople is also broad and relies on an asserted survey rather than a specific, explained example. To strengthen the response, develop each view with a clear reason and a concrete illustration, then explain more directly why your preferred approach is better overall. This would make the discussion more fully supported and balanced.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” makes the progression easy to follow, and the main position is identifiable. This meets the lower-band expectations securely and shows some features of stronger organisation. However, the second body paragraph begins by saying it is better to start with any job, which partly repeats the acceptance view before moving to improvement; this blurs the paragraph’s focus. Some links, including “therefore” and “Moreover,” feel mechanical, and “explained itself” does not clearly connect the survey to the argument. Keep each paragraph focused on one view and use more precise links between claims and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “financial hardships,” “opportunities,” “financial stability,” and “overcome this situation,” so the central ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, as in “job findings,” “salary wages,” “on any cost,” and “betterment of yourself.” Spelling errors such as “countinously,” “sucessful,” and “recpective” are noticeable, while repeated use of “better” and “situation” limits precision. These issues sometimes make the reader pause, though the overall meaning remains accessible. Build a bank of natural collocations for employment and financial hardship, and check spelling and word forms carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using clauses with “while,” “as,” and “but,” and the overall meaning can usually be followed. Some sentence patterns are controlled, such as the contrast between the two views. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction recur. For example, “they should have happily accept it” needs a corrected verb pattern, and “90% of successful businessmen are those who started” shifts awkwardly between present and past forms. In “success is for whom who try,” the relative structure is also faulty. These errors do not generally prevent understanding, but they reduce accuracy and make some sentences less natural. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, verb patterns after modal verbs, and consistent tense within examples.
