Student answer (Band 5.0)
Theres a numerous people have a strong thinking that the bad situation as need of money and unsatisfied work , while others believe that is not normal and unfair to embrace like this situations. From my perspective, i tend to think that we should accept this bad situation and learn from it .
Firstly, having a bad situation is something inevitable in life due to the fact that the life is like a chart we find ups and downs on it , moreover we face some challenge in our works and the need of money as well. For instance, when i had 21 years i suffered from shortage of money when i was in China since i dont have any passive income as a student there, furthermore i cant even have a part time job, however it was a tought period for me i spent it just with few of money and without any work. On top of that this period in our life dont pass like that we learn from it a good lessons and learn from our mistakes.
On the other side, theres a people who think that theres no bad situation and they should enhance theirselfes in order to handle this situations, in addition prepare money for this obstacles in life. For exmple, two years ago i faced a tough year without having a job ,however before this period i was saving money due to i knew this bad situations will came and when this positions faced me i was ready for it due to my saving box that assit me a lot in this situation.
In conclusion , we dont know the life what will bring to us thats why we should accept the bad situation and improve our selves for this positions in order to do good.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and state a position: you favour accepting difficult circumstances and learning from them. The examples about being a student in China and saving money before a period without work are relevant and help illustrate the topic. However, the discussion is only partial: the first view is explained mainly as accepting hardship, while the opposing view is described as preparing financially rather than clearly trying to improve an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Your opinion also shifts in the conclusion, where you say people should both accept the situation and improve themselves, without explaining how these ideas fit together. Develop each view more fully and make your position consistent from introduction to conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Examples are placed alongside the relevant points, and signposts such as “Firstly” and “On the other side” help show the intended contrast. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: several ideas are joined in long sentences, and connectors such as “moreover,” “furthermore,” and “however” are used mechanically or without clear relationships. References such as “this situations” and “this period” can also be unclear. Use shorter, more clearly organised sentences, and make each paragraph develop one central point before moving to its example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “shortage of money,” “passive income,” “part time job,” and “saving money,” and you attempt phrases such as “inevitable in life” and “ups and downs.” This gives you enough language to communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less clear. For example, “a strong thinking,” “embrace like this situations,” and “saving box” are not natural expressions in this context; spelling errors such as “exmple” and “assit” are also noticeable. Build a bank of accurate collocations for discussing hardship, coping, and taking action, and check spelling and word forms when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including explanations with “due to the fact that” and examples introduced by “when.” This shows an effort to connect ideas rather than relying only on short statements. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. Examples include “Theres a numerous people,” “when i had 21 years,” and “this period in our life dont pass”; these patterns make some sentences difficult to process. Capitalisation and comma spacing are also inconsistent. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement and tense consistency in each sentence.
