Student answer (Band 5.0)

Many individuals will accept and be thankful in what they are having beacuse they will be having family responsibility, Nowadays in this generation people are not being thankful to what they have they are in search for more and more, Additionally losing what they were having before, I support the people who take risk and find a better opprtunity to get out from such situation. Both wii be discuused in the following essay.

To begin with the opponents that it is best to accept and continue a worst situation, such as work or a lack of money. Because, people will be thankful to what they have got and will come into a comfort situation, like they will be getting salary monthly and they won't target any higher goal they will be happy in that salary and run their days most importantly many of them will be having responsibility of their family to take care and they will be in pressure and don't think to quiet the job and find better opprtunities in their life.

Moreover, proponents argues that it is better to take a risk and get out from such situations because they will get stuck into the same situation for years if they did not try to find better options for getting out from such situations if they won't find the options then they will simple be in a trap of promotions and increrment. So, people hav eto take risk to find better and better opportunities in life.

In conclusion, it is clear that there are differnt type people who accept the situation and continue and other are who will be search for better opprtunities eventhough they have a job.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and state a preference for taking risks to improve one’s circumstances, so the response is relevant to the question. The first body paragraph gives a reason for accepting a difficult situation—family responsibilities and the security of a regular salary—while the next argues that people may remain stuck if they do not seek better options. However, the discussion is only partial: the second view is asserted more than explained, and there are no specific examples to support either position. Your own opinion appears in the introduction but is not clearly reinforced in the conclusion, which mainly restates that people differ. Develop each view with a concrete example and make your final position explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the main sections of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the opening sentence combines several ideas, and the first body paragraph moves from gratitude to salary security and family pressure without clearly showing how these points connect. Linking expressions such as “To begin with” and “Moreover” are used, but some connections are mechanical or inaccurate, and the conclusion does not clearly follow through on your stated preference. Use one main idea per paragraph, explain its connection to the task, and use transitions that show the precise relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “family responsibility,” “salary,” “risk,” and “opportunities,” and the reader can generally understand the intended discussion. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “situations” and “better opportunities.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “come into a comfort situation,” “a trap of promotions and increment,” and “run their days.” Spelling errors, including “beacuse,” “opprtunity,” and “differnt,” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise range for discussing security and change—for example, “financial stability,” “seek a more rewarding position,” and “remain in an unsatisfactory job”—and check spelling and natural word combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express reasons and consequences using longer sentences, including the explanation that people may stay in a job because they have family responsibilities. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “Many individuals will accept and be thankful in what they are having” has problems with tense and sentence construction, while “people hav eto take risk” shows errors in verb form, article use, and number. Several sentences are joined with commas where a full stop or clearer clause structure is needed. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if.” Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation during revision.
