Student answer (Band 5.5)

In today's era world changing, job and money has become a topic of increasing relevance. These are some people who are of the opinion that it is best to accept a difficult situations due to unsatisfactory job or shortage of money, while other believe that it is better to try and improve difficult situations. However, i strongly believe that it is better to try and improve bad situations and trying to achieve satisfying job and try to save money for emergency needed.

In the first instance, satisfactory and financial security gives us a secure future and gaves more oppertunity of life. One of the major reason is that satisfacotry job gives you motivation to do work smartly or hardly to achieve job task and complete on time. Furthermore, it is paramount to consider one viewpoint that is financial security or having saving money helps you in accidental emergence. This, ultimatly, can lead to success in future.

However, it is also significance to consider the opposing viewpint as it is propagated by many people. They believe that accept bad situation with unsatisfactory job and shortage of money which may be valid in certain cases but in today world this situation have a lot of disadvantage like in acidental emergency you need some monry for family but you do not have money so that's situation create many problems again for you.

To conclude, althrough there are valid arrguments on both sides, i strongly beleive that trying for better situation and improving perivous situation to make more better. The main reason is satisfy job give a motivation to do hard work as well as smart work and earn money more to secure future bad problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall opinion in the introduction and conclusion: you favour trying to improve difficult circumstances. You also refer to both views, including the idea that people may accept a bad situation and the risks of having no savings. However, the discussion of acceptance is not fully explained: the opposing paragraph mainly describes the disadvantages of financial insecurity rather than why someone might choose to accept a job or limited income. Your own reasons—motivation, completing work, and preparing for emergencies—are relevant, but they are asserted rather than supported with a specific example or fuller explanation. Develop the reasons behind each view and explain more directly why your preferred approach is better. The response meets the stated length requirement; 16 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “However” and “To conclude” help identify the stages of the argument. The overall progression is nevertheless limited: the first body paragraph supports improving circumstances, while the second does not clearly develop the case for accepting them. Some linking expressions feel mechanical or do not show the relationship between ideas accurately, as in “Furthermore, it is paramount to consider one viewpoint.” References such as “this situation” and “that’s situation” are also unclear. Give each body paragraph one clear purpose, use transitions that express the actual relationship between points, and connect each supporting detail explicitly to the paragraph’s main claim.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “financial security,” “motivation,” “emergency” and “secure future,” so the reader can follow the general topic. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “bad situation,” “money” and “job.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “oppertunity,” “satisfacotry,” “emergence” and “viewpint,” which reduce accuracy and sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Some combinations are unnatural, for example “satisfying job” and “earn money more.” Build a more precise set of expressions for employment and financial hardship, check spelling carefully, and learn vocabulary in natural combinations rather than translating phrases word by word.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a contrast between the two views and a concluding sentence that gives your position. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, agreement, articles and verb forms. For example, “job and money has become” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “other believe” and “this situation have” also use incorrect agreement. The opening phrase “These are some people who are of the opinion” is structurally awkward, and the final sentence lacks a clear grammatical structure. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including the lowercase “i.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete sentence patterns first, then use a few controlled complex sentences to express reasons and contrasts.
