Student answer (Band 5.0)

The majority of people are living in materialistic world where all things are temparary and the most important is to understand your needs and values. From my prospective, job satisfaction and money both play crucial rule in human life. so i strongly agree that improvng yourself and try for better in your life.

First of all, majority of people are trying to survive in this world so it does not make any impact that they are satisfy eith their job or any other stuff. They continued thier daily routine without any interest. moreover,in this materialistic world people are trying to reach their destination without knowing their values. For instance,my best friend are working as a government employee.Sometimes he think that he want to do samething different in their life but his responsibilities are not let them to do and he is restricted in the boundary.

On the other hand, the minority of people works hard and improve theirself with time and they assumed if you are able to try something big in your life you will never get success.Furthermore, most of the successfull person in the world become when they do something different and create their own way.for example Elon Musk, the richest person in the world become successfull by its hardwork and passion of doing huge.

In conclusion,i personally believes that hardwork and passion change your life and you are able to do big in your life and if you manage yourself you stuck in same position and never get success by leaps and bound.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear personal preference for trying to improve one’s circumstances, especially in the opening and conclusion, and you include examples such as your friend’s government job and Elon Musk. However, the discussion of accepting a bad situation is not fully explained: the friend’s responsibilities suggest why someone may stay in an unsatisfactory job, but you do not clearly explain why acceptance might be the best choice or when it could be sensible. The opposing view is also presented mainly as a contrast between people who continue routine work and people who work hard, rather than as a balanced discussion of the two positions. Develop each view with a reason and a relevant example, and make your position explicit and consistent throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “First of all,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is not always clear: the first body paragraph moves from survival to materialism and then to your friend without showing how each point supports acceptance. Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “they” and “their” in the friend example make it unclear who is being discussed. Build each paragraph around one main idea, explain it before giving the example, and use clearer links between claims and evidence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “job satisfaction,” “responsibilities,” “materialistic,” “passion,” and “success,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the argument difficult to interpret, such as “improve theirself,” “create their own way,” and “success by leaps and bound.” Spelling errors, including “temparary,” “prospective,” and “successfull,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise phrases for the two positions, such as “accept one’s circumstances” and “take steps to improve one’s situation,” and check spelling and common word partnerships carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “where,” “that,” and “if.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make the reader pause. For example, “they are satisfy” has an incorrect verb form, while “my best friend are working” has a subject–verb agreement error. In “if you manage yourself you stuck in same position,” the conditional structure and verb forms are unclear. There are also inconsistent sentence openings and missing punctuation after full stops. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and complete conditional sentences before adding more complexity.
