Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some individuals trust that it is best to accept a bad situation such as unemployment and shortage of money, while others argue that it is better to fight with problems and improve such situations.

One the one hand, accepting a worse situation will lead u go to success because good things come when u suffer from that type of situation. For example, shortage of money and unsatisfactory jobs teach u best to achieve our goals like if u have nothing u do too much hard work to earn much money and maintain a good position in our employment sector. Therefore, accept our mistakes and bad problems will lead u to our desire position and achieve our goals too respectively.

On the another hand, some individuals understand our weakness what they have do in the past so they may want to improve our selves. For instance, if a person weak in math and doing bank job as a excellent position suffers from much difficulties so he do much smart work to improve our own situations. Furthermore, understanding our problems improves u perfectly in all kind of terms, while if u think negative u loose everything so u have to fight that kind of problem and improve stronger to our community as well.

To conclude, problems are the key to lock good position in our future and earn desire criteria jobs or business what u have to build and every situation teach u the right path of all your problems as well. Although improving ourselves is the first main key to our success.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both accepting a difficult situation and trying to improve it, and your conclusion indicates that you see value in both. However, the position is not consistently clear: the first body paragraph claims that accepting hardship leads to success, while the conclusion also calls self-improvement the “first main key” to success without explaining how you weigh the two views. The supporting ideas are relevant but under-developed. For example, the point that financial hardship can motivate hard work needs a clearer explanation, and the bank-job example does not show precisely how the person improves the situation. Develop each view with a specific, logical example and state your own preference clearly. The response meets the task’s length requirement; 11 words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “On the one hand,” “On the another hand,” and “To conclude” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because ideas are joined without clear logical links. The first body paragraph moves from accepting hardship to working hard and then to accepting mistakes, without showing how these points relate. References such as “our,” “u,” and “they” also shift, making it unclear who is being discussed. Use consistent pronouns and organise each paragraph around one main claim, followed by an explanation and a relevant example.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “shortage of money,” “unsatisfactory jobs,” “achieve our goals,” and “improve our situations.” This gives the reader a basic sense of the ideas. However, the range is limited and several choices or combinations are inaccurate or unclear, which sometimes makes the message difficult to understand. Examples include “fight with problems,” “desire position,” and “lock good position”; these do not express the intended meanings naturally. Informal texting forms such as “u” are also unsuitable for an academic essay. Build a more precise range for discussing hardship, employment, and personal change, and check collocations and word forms when revising.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if a person…” and a contrast introduced by “while.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, so the reader has to work to identify the intended meaning. For example, “One the one hand” lacks the correct article, while “if a person weak in math … suffers” is missing a verb in the opening clause. There are also recurring problems with subject–verb agreement and verb forms, as in “he do” and “understanding our problems improves u.” Practise complete clause structures, consistent agreement, and accurate punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
