Student answer (Band 5.0)

In today's rapidly evolving world ,the issue of un satisfactory job has sparked a considerable debate, with opnion divided on wheather it is benifical or harmful. While both sides of the arguement hold merit,I am strongly inclined to agree with the view that it is best to accept the bad situation such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. This essay will present compelling reasons and real-world examples in support of my perspective.

To begin with, some critics argue that it is best way to accept bad situation such as unsatisfactory job or shortage of money because, through this we can handle the family problems. For instance, poor people need money to meet their expensies. In addition, some individuals need urgent jobs because of their personal issues so they can accept such jobs with less salaries and unsatisfactory jobs.

On the other hand, some individuals claim that we should try and improve such situation because some well-educated people need job in multi-national compnies to prove their self so they try and improve the bad cicrumstances.Furthermore, many employes has no electronic equipments such as computers, laptop and other service devices so they get job with less money so people can save money to improve these bad situations. This may leads to improve technology.

In conclusion, through both view has their own reasons but,From my perspective, it is better to accept the bad situation because after a bad cicrimstances there is a easy way to improve their confidence so families and friends should help such individuals to improve their confidence and work hard to better thier selves.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You give a clear opinion in the introduction and conclusion: you favour accepting a difficult situation. You also attempt to discuss both views, with examples involving family expenses and educated people seeking better jobs. However, the discussion is only partially developed, and the reasons are sometimes unclear—for example, the point about employees lacking computers does not clearly explain how improving a bad situation would help. The conclusion introduces confidence and support from family and friends without connecting these ideas fully to the earlier discussion. The response is 245 words, five words below the 250-word minimum; the 11 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop each side with a clear reason and a relevant, explained example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some connections are difficult to follow. For instance, the move from employees lacking electronic equipment to saving money and improving technology is not clearly explained. The conclusion also shifts to family and friends helping people build confidence, an idea not developed earlier. Use cohesive devices to show precise relationships between claims and examples, and make sure each paragraph develops one central point in a logical sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “unsatisfactory job,” “shortage of money,” “personal issues,” and “well-educated.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “opnion,” “expensies,” “compnies,” and “cicrumstances.” Some phrases are also imprecise or unnatural, including “prove their self” and “better thier selves.” Aim to use accurate, natural collocations for discussing employment and financial hardship, and check spelling carefully. Replacing repeated general phrases such as “bad situation” with more precise wording would also help you express your ideas more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a concession in “While both sides of the arguement hold merit” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “some individuals need urgent jobs” has an unclear plural construction, while “many employes has” shows a subject–verb agreement problem. The opening sentence also runs several clauses together without consistent punctuation. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea and a clearly attached supporting clause; then check articles, singular/plural forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries.
