Student answer (Band 4.5)
At first, I'm with the idea of trying to improve every situation, no matter how good and bed you are doing in your life.
Yes, I have seen a few people who accept a bad situation and never move on, and here I want to give them my condolences and the faith that there are a few situations, like someone's death, losing a loved one, or losing something very important, that cannot be replaced or regained even after doing everything. Even though few people accept a bad situation, like an unsatisfactory job or a shortage of money and blame luck or the situation, which i can not relat but i can give them the benefit of the doubt, and I respect everyone's perspective but i still a strong believer that everything can be changed and improved with the mindset of "I can" and your "I can" is much more important then you IQ, with a positive mindset, you can achieve everything that you have every imagine for your self, On the other hand the sartain group of people belive that there is nothing bed and we should accept every situation even though they are heating yourself, I might not be able to understant there prespactive and vission that they are sharing but somting I to thing that we should accept every suition with the possitive mind send that try our best to improve the ourself and out life becouse you are not just improve your life with you there are people who got inspair by you.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, especially through the idea that an “I can” mindset helps people change their lives. You also refer to accepting hardship and mention examples such as an unsatisfactory job and a shortage of money. However, the discussion of why people may accept these situations is brief, and the response does not develop both views in a balanced way. The references to death and losing a loved one are not closely connected to the specific debate about accepting or improving a bad situation. To strengthen the response, explain practical reasons for acceptance, such as limited opportunities or protecting one’s wellbeing, then support your own position with a relevant example and a clearer conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is a recognisable overall direction: you state your preference at the beginning and use phrases such as “On the other hand” to introduce a contrasting view. However, nearly all the ideas are placed in one very long paragraph, so the reader cannot easily distinguish the two views or your conclusion. The response also moves quickly between unrelated examples, and several linking phrases do not clarify the relationship between ideas. For example, the discussion shifts from bereavement to jobs and money, then to mindset and inspiration without clear stages. Organise the essay into separate paragraphs for the first view, the opposing view, and your opinion, and use clear topic sentences and references to connect each point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt some relevant vocabulary, including “unsatisfactory job,” “shortage of money,” “mindset,” and “perspective,” and the central message is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to follow, such as “bed,” “relat,” “sartain,” and “prespactive.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “give them my condolences” does not fit people who accept a difficult situation, and “everything can be changed” is too absolute for this discussion. Aim for accurate, task-specific language and check spelling carefully. Phrases such as “cope with hardship,” “seek better opportunities,” and “accept circumstances beyond one’s control” would help express the two positions more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in extended sentences, using structures such as “Even though…” and “On the other hand,” but these sentences are often difficult to control. The opening sentence, for instance, combines several ideas without a clear grammatical structure, while the long sentence beginning “Even though few people accept…” contains unclear clause relationships and punctuation. There are also frequent problems with sentence boundaries, agreement, and forms such as “you are not just improve your life.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related points with accurate subordinate clauses. Check verb forms after modal verbs and ensure each sentence has a clear subject and main verb.
