Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people argue that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as unsatisfactory job or shortage of money, while others believe that trying to improve such situations would be much better. Although situations can change according to time irrespective of one's effort, analysing things in those circumstances could prevent reoccurence of those situations.
On the one hand, individuals believe that bad times in some part of life are temporary, so instead of complicating it is better to accept or to settle down in such situations. If people accept sooner that there is shortage of money, they will reduce their monthly income for that particular period. As a consequence this type of approach can help them to overcome such issues and move on in life anticipating a change sooner or later. For instance, people tend to work in unsatisfactory job sector expecting a promotion than being a job less individual in order to gain a better job opportunity.
On the other hand, some emplyooes or citizen refuse to settle less and always work hard to change the aspects of life. These type of community analyse such issues and work on it overnight and they also ensure to avoid reoccurence of such situations. For example, people work in multisector jobs to improve income and also increase their skills to crack better job opportunity. As a result both compensating and working towards such issues can lead to sucess in life.
In conclusion, I believe that there are differents aspects of dealing with those obstacles, accepting and improving such issues with intenstion of success sooner or later is better to overcome.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both views and give a personal position, so the response addresses the main parts of the task. The first body paragraph explains why accepting a temporary difficulty may help people move on, while the second describes efforts to improve income and skills. However, some points are unclear or only briefly supported. For example, “reduce their monthly income” does not clearly explain how accepting a shortage of money helps, and the job example is difficult to interpret. Your opinion is also not fully consistent: the introduction suggests analysing problems can prevent their recurrence, whereas the conclusion appears to favour both acceptance and improvement without clearly stating when each is best. Develop the examples and make your position more precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow this structure. There is also a basic progression from explaining acceptance to describing efforts to improve circumstances. However, some links between ideas are mechanical or unclear. In the first body paragraph, the connection between accepting a shortage of money and “reduce their monthly income” is hard to follow; the example about working while expecting a promotion also needs a clearer link to the point. The conclusion repeats both positions rather than resolving them. Use more precise referencing and explain how each example supports its paragraph’s main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “temporary,” “overcome,” “promotion,” and “skills,” and the reader can generally understand the intended discussion. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning less clear. “Reduce their monthly income” seems to mean reducing spending, while “work on it overnight” is not a natural way to describe sustained effort. Phrases such as “job sector,” “crack better job opportunity,” and “compensating” are also imprecise in context. Spelling errors, including “reoccurence,” “emplyooes,” and “sucess,” further weaken control. Build a more accurate set of expressions for financial hardship, job security, and career advancement, and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “Although,” “so,” and “in order to.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main message is usually understandable. However, there are some errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms. For example, “such as unsatisfactory job” needs an article, and “These type of community analyse” has problems with demonstrative, number, and subject–verb agreement. The sentence beginning “If people accept sooner that there is shortage of money” also has awkward clause structure and a missing article. In the conclusion, “accepting and improving such issues with intention” is not grammatically well formed. Practise accurate article use, agreement, and clearer clause construction while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
