Student answer (Band 5.0)
Everyone go through to the bad situation atleast once in a life. It is said that, some people believe in accepting it like the job you never wished for but others believe in trying and improving that situation. Both has their own views that I will discuss in the paragraphs below.
First of all, the people that believe in accepting the situation claims that, it is very important to accept the situation that you are going through it because, sometimes that situation that you are finding bad is actually better than any other. Moreover, they claim that, the problems like shortage of money is sometimes because of the expectations you create after seeing some thing better. Moreover, the other reason they propose that if you will always find your situation bad you will never get satisfied.
The other group of people that believe in trying to improve argues that, if we stuck in a situation that is not good enough for us we will never get a chance to do something better. Additionally, the say that improvement is the need and trying to improve is necessary because, for success, trying is the key. This is your right to achieve what
In my opinion, we should try to get better and to improve our current situation.
To conclude, accepting is some thing that is needed to avoid the stress of the bad situation but we should try to overcome the bad situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss both views and state your opinion clearly in “we should try to get better and to improve our current situation.” The examples of an unwanted job and money problems are relevant, and you give reasons for accepting circumstances, such as avoiding dissatisfaction, as well as for seeking improvement. However, the ideas remain limited and are not developed with specific examples or explanation. The second viewpoint is especially incomplete: “This is your right to achieve what” ends without completing the idea, and the conclusion gives little support for your position. The response also falls short of the required 250 words. To strengthen the answer, complete each point, explain its consequences, and add a relevant example for both views.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, an opinion, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and several links feel repetitive or mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “Moreover.” The sentence “This is your right to achieve what” interrupts the argument and leaves the second viewpoint unfinished. The opinion also appears in a very short standalone paragraph rather than being developed or connected to the preceding discussion. Use clearer links between each claim and its explanation, and ensure every paragraph reaches a complete point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “accepting,” “shortage of money,” “improve,” “satisfied,” and “overcome.” However, the range is limited, with repeated use of general words such as “situation,” “bad,” and “trying.” Some word choices and collocations are awkward, for example “Everyone go through to the bad situation” and “the expectations you create after seeing some thing better,” which make parts of the message less clear. Spelling and word-form issues such as “atleast” and “some thing” also affect accuracy. Build a more precise range for discussing employment, financial pressure, and personal change, and check common collocations and spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “if,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited and complex sentences often contain errors that make the reader work to understand them. Examples include “Everyone go through,” “Both has their own views,” and “if we stuck in a situation,” where subject–verb agreement or verb forms are incorrect. Several sentences also have faulty clause construction, as in “accept the situation that you are going through it,” and punctuation is often misplaced around commas and “because.” Practise accurate agreement and verb forms, and build longer sentences around one clear main clause before adding supporting clauses.
