Student answer (Band 5.5)

Money is the most demanding thing in humans life for decades, as it is esential for survival. It is argued that some people think that accepting a low wage job, or shortage of money is best approach, while others believed that it is best to try and find a situation that is good to improve worst situations. I will discuss both views and give my own opinion.

To begin with people, that says it is better to accept job that is not fullfilling your mentally requirements and also financials. This statement is true in some sort of situations, where peoples who are financially not well, and they have not enough budget to run their own bussiness, so they have to do job that is available on evenly low wage. Also some people have familiy issues so they can not move to other cities for a well salary job, in this way they have to accept the financials they are tackling with. No body is happy to accept worst financial conditions, but due to some reasons they have to work for.

However, others claimed that the best way to overcome the severe earning conditions is to try to find better oppurtunities. A job that is not fulfilling your survival needs and also your not mentally satisfied ,we should quit the job. It is better to improve these condition by finding skilled jobs or that jobs in which your are satisfied and having good wage to fulfill family needs. By improving these situations a person become financially stable and he will be able to overcome from this situation.my opinion is that it is better to improve such situations.

To conclude, financial conditions are stabled by try to find better oppurtunities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state your position in the introduction and again near the end: you explain why people may stay in low-paid work, then argue that seeking better opportunities is preferable. The examples about limited finances, business costs and family ties are relevant. However, the discussion is uneven and the reasons are not fully developed. For instance, you mention that people cannot move to another city, but do not explain what alternatives they might have or how this supports accepting the situation. Your own view is clear, but the claim that someone should quit an unsatisfactory job is not qualified by practical risks or supported with a specific example. Develop each point with explanation and evidence, and make the conclusion summarise your reasoning rather than repeat a general claim.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To begin with,” “However,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the discussion. Within paragraphs, however, ideas sometimes run together, and links between claims are not always clear. The second body paragraph shifts from describing what “others” believe to directly advising the reader to quit, then moves to your opinion without a clear transition. The final sentence is also abrupt and does not bring together the two sides. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to its main point; vary linking expressions and ensure pronouns such as “this situation” have an unmistakable reference.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “low wage,” “financially stable,” “opportunities,” and “survival needs.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response difficult to interpret. For example, “the most demanding thing in humans life” does not express the intended importance of money, while “financials they are tackling with” and “overcome from this situation” are unnatural. Spelling errors such as “esential,” “fullfilling,” and “oppurtunities” are also noticeable. Build a bank of accurate phrases for employment and financial hardship, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer precise expressions such as “financial difficulties” and “seek better-paid work.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “where” and “so,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement, articles and verb forms. Examples include “some people think … while others believed,” “people who is financially not well,” and “a person become financially stable.” Several sentences also have faulty boundaries or punctuation, such as the run-on after “satisfied” and the missing space and capitalisation in “situation.my opinion.” Practise forming accurate subject–verb patterns and separating complete sentences. A more controlled mix of short sentences and correctly joined clauses would make your reasoning easier to follow.
