Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argued that the convinient way of living is to adapt unsatisfactory situations like low income or difficult jobs, while others believe that there should be a struggle to improve these inconvinient situations. This essat will this discuss both the views before concluding it is better to try and improve these ameneties.

on the one hand, accepting difficult times provide a releife to individuals. If a person considerd himself a hppier man evenl in bad conditions, he will deffinitely enjoys his life more thans others. spending lives in limitted budgets or unsatisfactory tasks help individuals to manage their budgets accordingly, and it also encourage the phenomenon of no money no danger critaria. for instance, people who do not earn high wages, but cover their costs accordingly. Such individuals live better life compared to those, who earns more but fails to save. Consequently, it is excellent to accept a bad situation, and train youself accordingly.

on the other hand, hard work for better resources gives an internal piece of satisfaction. strugglling for betterment necessary bpth for individuals and their famlies growth. If a prsons pays more attention and try to improve his difficult conditions, it will be better for his society, which also provides benifits indirectly to his country. for example, individuals in developed countries, work hard during days and in nights during working hours and partime. Consequently, I beleive people should give their hundred percent to increase thir wages, and for getting promotion to their previous jobs. Although at the beginnig it looks like a difficult and impossibl task, at the end it alwats gives positive results, which helps to obtain better troirces.

In conclution, it is pretty clear that both accepting bad situatinns, and trying for excellen opportunities have some advantades and disadvantages. Struggling for improvemnts is the best way to live a good life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and state a clear preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, especially in the introduction and conclusion. The first main paragraph gives a relevant reason to accept hardship: managing spending can help people live within their means. The second argues that effort can benefit individuals, families and society. However, some points are less fully developed: the claim that hard work benefits a country is not explained, and the example about workers in developed countries is broad rather than specific. The discussion of acceptance also focuses mainly on budgeting, leaving other possible reasons, such as reducing stress, unexplored. Develop each main idea with a clearer explanation or a concrete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The contrast between the views is easy to follow, and signposts such as “on the one hand,” “on the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some stronger control through paragraphing and progression. However, linking is sometimes mechanical, with “Consequently” repeated to introduce conclusions that do not always follow directly from the preceding point. Some references are also unclear, as in “these amenities” and “their previous jobs.” Use more precise referencing and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unsatisfactory situations,” “internal satisfaction,” “promotion,” and “developed countries.” However, the range is limited and many spelling errors make the writing less fluent to read, including “convinient,” “inconvinient,” “strugglling,” and “conclution.” There are also inaccurate word choices or collocations: “improve these amenities” does not express improving circumstances, and “better troirces” is unclear. These issues sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to identify, which is consistent with this level. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocation carefully; prioritise clear, accurate wording over ambitious expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use some complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If a person considered himself…” and a relative clause in “those, who earns more but fails to save.” However, control is inconsistent, and attempts at longer sentences often contain errors that can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “accepting difficult times provide” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “If a person… he will definitely enjoys” mixes verb forms. Other examples include “struggling for betterment necessary” and “people… work hard… and partime,” where sentence structure is incomplete or unclear. Practise accurate agreement, verb forms, and complete clause construction before adding further complexity.
